Thank you for your response, however the question was regarding Job's friends and his wife.

His friends stayed alive.
Yes, he did. He was a rather rough character with equally rough language i suspect, and that is most likely why he cursed when he was asked if he knew Jesus.
Yes it is, amen.![]()

Ill need to check that out. Regardless the lords mercy was great, Peter was forgiven i think.
I see things i cant quite put together but its as if i saw a glimpse of something wonderful.![]()
It says he had MORE children after that, so that means that he had a wife as well.
You GOTTA share!!!!
I did, but its hard to grasp though, i cant quite put it all together. Its about bearing our cross, enduring hardship.
Look at what i posted here already, its about enduring hardship, about not denying Christ, about sharing in his sufferings, about not sleeping but staying awake, or even waking up. The sower parable ties in too
And this too.
There seems to be wisdom in being poor. Notice the words faith, godliness and power. Note also the words needs, afflictions, and distresses.
2 Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2 Ti 3:10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
2 co 12:9 And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure ininfirmities, in reproaches, in needs, inpersecutions, in distresses, for Christs sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
1 Ti 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
Here's the stickler and a wunnerful study of all those verses and how they apply to Job interestingly enough....stickler because Job was rich, lost ALL, and then it was restored to him and even more was restored than before....
therefore he was a very rich man.
Stickler: why did God not only restore what Job lost, but gave him even more than before?
2 Ti 3:5 Having a form ofgodliness, but denying thepowerthereof: from such turn away.
34 Jesus said to him, Assuredly, I say to you that this night, before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.
35 Peter said to Him, Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You!
8 Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. 9 And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.
2 Ti 2:12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
Romans 8:17Now if we are children, then we are heirs--heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
