On the contrary AV, I have more hope and wonder than I've ever had. A new lease on life, if you will allow me to be so cliche. I decided to apply reason and logic to my beliefs and really examine with a critical eye at the actual claims religion and the bible made, and they came up short.

Well, it obvious you can not hear *some of the valid points* given by the other side. Its as if your ears have not evolved. I do not agree with young earth creationists and think they have committed intellectual suicide on certain points. Yet, I still can not for the life of me understand how you think evolution was capable of producing all the life we find around us.

As wrong about certain issues I find young earth creationists are about dealing with aspects of the evidence we have around us and as found in the Bible, I still think that atheistic evolution is even more intellectually dishonest and deficient (though smarter with gathering data).

So, your problem is that you approach anyone who believes in creation as they are all of the same thinking. Its not the case. But, your thinking has not evolved enough to know that.

that's all creationists seem to be good for, talking, listening to professional creationists lies and repeating the lies.

You are either very young and have not been around much... or your position stopped evolving long ago. Which is it?

If creationists were as smart as they think they are they would all be too embarrassed to be creationists.

You throw at Christians the very things keeps you afraid to open your mind. For, you fear the very kind of ridicule that you dump on those you seek to do likewise. Do you realize that you are herd bound to the secular mind set? That you will stubbornly follow what constitutes the current politically correct belief system? You do. That is not to excuse the herd bound fundies either. But, you both do the same thing.

You would fear and hate the very ostracism and mocking you feel free to send towards those who you perceive in your limited view of creationists. You would fear being seen as stupid by your peers. Its you who are the cowards and afraid to open your minds because you fear too much what will come your way, while needing to work out your position to be consistent. So, you blindly refuse to consider the valid points of those resisting you!

Now... The young earth creations suffer from the same kind of intellectual dishonesty. Both of you end up arguing like two dogs swirling in a perpetual circle, always chasing the other one's "tale." But, never seeing your own!
