Who of us said that God sits on a ball?

Well God must sit above a ball as apparently according to you guys he doesn't sit above the circle of the earth.
And another thing you guys like to say is that God never stopped the sun & that there is no firmament & the sun doesn't move across the sky & doesn't set.
I could go on and on but I wont.

So your non the wiser either (figures)
I've told you several times that I am not a scientist.
But just because I don't understand how, and why, gravity works, I can still accept it.
It seems that you can't. You ask for an explanation of how something works, someone here obliges and kindly takes the time to explain it and you either say "science is tedious, I can't get my head around that". Or you say "well I can't imagine that" and post hand-produced pictures from YouTube which, you claim, are worth 1000 words."
But if you say that you accept something it means that you accept also how it works - even if you don't understand it. Otherwise, in what sense are you accepting the thing that you claim to accept?

It's a bit like if a non-Christian were to say, "I believe in Jesus, I believe his teachings and that he really did those miracles - but I can't believe he was the Messiah."
Jesus said that he was the Messiah, so if someone accepts all Jesus' words they have to accept that too (even if they don't understand it.) The Messiah, God's anointed, God himself; that's who Jesus was (and is). So if someone can't accept that then they don't accept Jesus.

If you accept gravity but you can't accept that "gravity keeps the seas on the ball", then you don't accept gravity.
So your statement that you can accept gravity but not what it does is nonsensical.

And at least I can spell.

Can't say I've ever noticed, I don't go around picking folks up on there spelling, I find it a bit childish.
Not knowing the difference between there and their, accept and expect, your and you're and so on suggests carelessness - unless there is some other reason for it. And if you're careless about your writing; if the vibe you give off is "can't be bothered to look this up", then why should we take the contents of your posts seriously? (I mean, most of us don't anyway, but having badly spelt posts makes it even less likely.)

If you went for a job and submitted an application form covered in mistakes, they would probably file it in the bin.

Explain it to me then.
If you jump up, you fall down. That's what we call gravity.

You accept the idea of weight, which is literally the force due to gravity. So if you accept weight, you accept gravity. You just don't like the name "gravity" for some reason.

Well God must sit above a ball as apparently according to you guys he doesn't sit above the circle of the earth.
1. Sitting on is not sitting above, you, being a native English speaker, have surprisingly low precision in wording

2. Its not literal, God does not sit. He is spirit, not a human. Its an imagery, anthropomorphism (look up these words to understand them).

3. The circle of the Earth is a Babylonian cultural concept, not a modern and literal description of the shape of our world. Its more similar to the cultural saying "the four corners of the world" or to "the four winds of the world" than to a real map.

Regarding stopping the Sun in the sky (not in the universe), thats a totally different thing from the circle of the Earth, because its a miraculous part of a narrative, not a cultural reference to the Babylonian concept of the world, part of a poetic text, like above. So, different explanations are needed.

For me, the most probable explanations are from a fictitious part of the story to some local optical illusion. Prolonging the day or night for everybody on the planet would require a huge set of miracles in the universe, which does not seem to be matching the significance of this one of many Israel's wars for anybody other than Israel and his close neighbors. Who of us even remembers the name of the tribe Israel fought with and who even knows who they were? Everybody remembers and cares only about the part about the Sun.

Einstein’s theory provides a more accurate description. Scientists are still working on improving or further understanding the theory of gravity.
We will probably never have a perfect theory of gravity.

Gravity is all but a theory.
Gravity is not a theory, gravity is a fact you can measure and even experience.

The theories of gravity are explanations of how the fact works. The Einstein's theory being the most successful so far and quantum theories of gravity emerging a bit. But nothing is taking us to some flat earth nonsense direction, do not worry.

If you accept gravity but you can't accept that "gravity keeps the seas on the ball", then you don't accept gravity.

Then I guess I will never accept gravity & I will never accept that the moon has any influence on the seas tides. The tides are caused by magnetism from the center of our level earth as thus:

At the center of our level earth there also exists a huge giant whirlpool that causes our sea tides.

Well you'll remain ignorant then.

I mean, you'll learn the truth when you die, but flat earth belief will be completely irrelevant then.
God is not going to ask you if you believed, and preached, that the earth is flat; he may well ask you why you insulted and slandered other Christians.

Fanaticism. No discovery or rational dialog possible.

Just another nonsense you pulled out of a thin air. No evidence, no logic in it, no sense in it. You could just as easily say that a huge dragon at the center of a flat earth causes it. Again, no rational dialog possible.
