Brain, what I mean is the disciples prayed and became of one accord before God did what He planned with them. I do not mean to say that when we do things in prayer we will always have the same results. Later, in the post, I offer how the disciples were not expecting to speak in tongues. And so, like them, be together in prayer and one accord, but do not expect and dictate what God will do while we so obey Him as one.

Absolutely, Yes. Jesus said if you have faith and believe "You Shall Do Greater Things Than I have Done", (Matthew 21:21, John 14:12). Both the Apostles Peter and Paul raised people from the dead according to the power of God, just as Jesus did, (Acts 9:36-41, 20:9, 10).

I believe with absolute certainty, there will be living End Time saints and prophets during the Tribulation Period, who will perform miracles just as Jesus and his Apostles did. Including healings and resurrections.

I fully agree that it is not rocket science, which is why it's so shocking that so many people can't comprehend it. It can't be for a lack of intellectual understanding. There has to be something else.

• if the lord tells us to go to a certain place and it is over water and there is no boat and he says go now ... then yes we can walk on the water -his wil not ours (as occurred in a river crossing with a group of children the lord sent over a river to reach a remote tribe with the gospel during the indonesian revival .

• I have observed tongues of fire on people receiving the holy Spirit , so our heavenly father is no respecter of persons.

You've misunderstood. It's about the average Christian thinking that they are no different than the apostle Paul in his ability to perform miracles works, and have a life full of the same experiences that he and the other 11 did.

Miracles are being performed in all religions and sects. That is not a big deal. You seem to sound that Paul is included in the twelve apostles chosen by Jesus. That may be a starting trouble in your seeking an answer.

Some of what was normative to the apostles is applicable to us, but some of it is not. They required the fulness of the Holy Spirit to preach the Gospel boldly. So do we. But *the signs of an apostle* were for apostles, so not every Christian can go around demonstrating sign gifts. On the other hand, all the apostles were martyrs and suffered for their faith. This can be applicable to any and all Christians. Some of the apostles wrote by Divine inspiration. Well, ever since the Revelation was completed, there is no more Scripture. The sixty six books of our Bible are the complete Word of God.

God does not change. Peter walking on the water. Jesus can never lie.. Peter asked..if it is you lord tell me to come. What was Jesus to say? No? There is no limit to FAITH..MAN tells you faiths limits.

Tongues of fire. They were told to wait for the Holy Spirit to come. There are some..that believe if you ask the Father for the Holy Spirit ..He will give it to those that ask. Now the real question here is.. WHO..did you ask? MAN or just the Father?

Who's offended? Those who walk after the flesh mind things of the flesh, but those who follow the spirit mind things of the spirit. We have died and are risen with Christ, and our life is hidden in Christ with God in heaven. There is a body of flesh and one of spirit. The corruption must put on incorruption. We must be born again, not of corruptible temporary things but heavenly eternal things. We walk by FAITH not sight. We do not look at things that are temporary but things that are eternal. Because he never taught the preaching of Jesus, His way and life. He had his own abridged version of the gospel of birth, death and resurrection of Jesus. That worked well with godless Gentiles.
