Hey, do you think we're gonna run into those Bluetooth Headset guys from last season again?

And has Mike Novak retired? I thought that he would've been the presidential advisor still, but now they have that Ally McBeal reject doing the job.

The one dude was in the previews cuz Jack gets him in his death grip around the throat.

I hope we will see Mike as well.

And ya gotta wonder what ever with Martha and Aaron. Did they get "caught in the net" after weasel hubby got hauled away?

In the previews for next week, they showed the Head Bluetooth guy - so yeah, maybe we'll finally figure out who they were!

I don't know about Mike Novak. I want to know where Aaron Pierce is.

Something just occured to me. Jack is still in the radiation zone. Do you think that the writers will take this into consideration or will simply ignore it?

I think he's a safe distance outside of it at the moment... as long as the winds don't blow south.

Karen's estimates showed that a nuclear blast of a suitcase bomb would have a maximum radius of about 20 miles... which, conveniently, is the distance of Valencia from L.A.

Well you must remember that Jack was at those peoples' house, which was about 30 minutes away from the Nuke place (remember, when Achhhmed was talking to the father he said it wouldn't be more than a 30 minute drive), so Jack probably won't get much radiation, if any.

I wonder what the Bluetooth guy is up to now... dangit I'm impatient! lol

Agreed. 30 minutes in the real LA though is about 3-4 blocks away

I just knew that they were gonna do something with Curtis. He started off being in the CTU building a lot more in past seasons and then they started leaving him out in the field a lot more. It was only a matter of time before they wrote out his character.

The other thing that clued me in was the opening credits. They showed Roger Cross in the "Guest Starring" section of the credits. His name wasn't there with Keifer Sutherland and the other main actors, whereas it has been in previous seasons.

I thought the faces that he was giving Jack were hilarious. It was as if someone passed gas in the SUV and he was trying to figure out who the culprit was.

Good call on the mom though. If she hadn't called 911... who knows.

Oh my goodness, that made me laugh so hard

WOW! My favorite/most shocking parts:

- Jackula!
- Karen and Bill - married!
- Julian Bashir back as the quasi-bad guy
- Previews indicate the return of Dr. Romano and the Bluetooth gang!
- Nuclear explosion, wow!
- Curtis is finally down and out

Hoping to see:
- Return of Aaron Pierce (and his new wife, Martha Logan )
- Ticked off Scottish agent from last season/Desmond returns to get revenge on Jack
- Audrey/Jack reunion! Though it has been 2 years, she might have moved on.... just what Jack needs

Hour 5:

Scene: Bill Buchanan calls Audrey.

Audrey: *answering phone* Audrey Raines

Bill: Audrey... Buchanan here.

Audrey: What's up?

Bill: There's someone here at CTU who'd like to see you.

Audrey: I'm in D.C. right now, so it might take me a while to get there.

Bill: That's fine. Just get here as soon as you can.

27 minutes later...

Audrey: Okay Bill I'm here. So... who is it that wants to see me.

Bill: He's right here.

(Jack Bauer steps into the room)

Audrey: .... oh boy

Jack: Bill, can Audrey and I have a minute?

Bill: No problem, Jack.

Audrey: Jack... I....

Jack: You missed me... yes, I know. And you've been spending every minute over the past two years wondering if you'll ever see me again and experience some hardcore Jack Bauer loving. Well I'm back, Audrey. And this time, I'm here to say. I love you.

Audrey: Actually, Jack, I.... I gave up hope. After you'd been gone for a month I just assumed that the Chinese had killed you.

Jack: Gave up? What do you mean?

Audrey: Well..... I've met somebody.

Jack: AGAIN!?!?!?!?!?!? Who is it THIS time? A rich industrial tycoon? Some weirdo in the President's administration?

(voice from behind): No Jack.... it's ME.

*Jack turns around to see who it is. To his surprise, it's BILL BUCHANAN!!*

Jack: Bill? I don't... I don't understand. Aren't you married to Karen Hayes?

Bill: Yes. But you know how it is, Jack. Everybody needs a little bit of extra loving on the side every now and then. What do the kids call it these days? Ah, yes... a SIDE DISH. *wink*

Jack: What is it with you people!?!?!? Every time I go away for a few months, you guys go around and start messing around with other peoples' relationships! Ugh! I'm so ANGRY!

Audrey: Jack, please, calm down! This thing between Bill and I... it's just about the sex. I'm 36! And you know what happens to us women when we're in our 30s, don't you?

Jack: Uh, yeah!?!?!? Jack Bauer knows EVERYTHING, Einstein! Why else do you think everyone is so desperate to be in a relationship with you?

Bill: For real, yo!!

Jack: I need to get out of here. It's time to go shoot some bad guys.

Bill: Jack, I thought you said you were out?

Jack: Not after this.

And you know something like that will happen, too, because Jack can't have simple peace or happiness in this life like normal people. At least not until Keifer's contract expires next year LOL

But I'm really hoping that the 24 movie is called "2". Because I don't know how I'd feel about sitting in a movie theater for 24 hours.

HAHA, I really hope that they don't make a movie that is 24 hours long. I could barely sit still through the LOTR movies.

Oh, I thought I heard the ticking of a clock. It was my cell phone battery dying. LOL Time to recharge.

Why is it that Jack's cell phone battery never dies. He is on that thing for what, 24 hours. Mine dies after 3. What phone is he using and where can I get one?
