Okay, my initial thoughts on the first two hours.

* Chloe looks more like Chloe when she's blond. I'm not digging the brown hair.

* I don't know who Milo is, but I feel like I should. The name is familiar. Is this an old character with a new actor or what?

* Don't like her ex-husband/current-boyfriend either, but can't put my finger on why. If there's going to be a CTU mole this year, he's my #1 suspect.

* Silent Jack made me very sad.

* Empathetic and lost Jack was worse, though.

* Season summed up in two lines:
"I don't know how to do this anymore."
"You'll remember."

* Wayne as the president's not working for me. He's no David Palmer.

* As I watched the show, more than once I remarked, "This is the future of our country."

* I cheered for Bill Buchanan when he told Chloe to "keep it under wraps for now". Yay, he's still the good guy, and still Jack's ally.

* What was up with Curtis being so cold to Jack?? He didn't even offer a goodbye when they hand-cuffed him to the grate!

* Jack kicks the terrorist out the back door of the train and into the tunnel right as the explosion goes off, and the backdraft blows Jack off his feet. Awesome.

That's it for now. Tonight's episodes look intense - can't wait!

Milo was in season 1, he worked with Jamie, if you remember her. He was a tech guy they called in to work, and it's the same actor.

While I like Chloe with the brown hair, I LOVE her with the blond, just not the same.

Seeing Jack show weakness when torturing that guy, saying "I don't know how to do this anymore.", and then in the trailer for today, "I can't do this anymore." makes me so sad.

Is the actor who plays Asad, doctor Bashir from Star Trek Deep Space Nine? lol

Bill Buchanan and Mrs. Buchanan, or still Karen Hayes apparently, yay they got hitched!

Nadia in CTU, bad guy, good guy, double agent?

So we learn the Palmer brothers have a sister, is her boyfriend guy, the guy from the Matrix movies, is he involved with the terrorists somehow?

Ok and the question you have to ask: Will there be "Kim-drama"?

Yeah Im excited for this season. I agree that I DO NOT like Wayne as president. However I think the plot line with Sundra/Sonjia/Sandra whatever his sisters name is could be interesting. Looks like she worked for some Muslim religious organization.

Sad Jack made me so sad. And those scars! I almost cried a little when they showed his hands and when he took his shirt off.

I agree with snooch- I was so happy with Bill told Chloe not to say anything about what she saw. I like Bill's character and I'm glad to see that he's gonna be the same ol same ol.

Tonights episode sounds intense, I did however hear an interview with Bill's character and he revealed a HUGE spoiler that I think may be revealed tonight.

Jack is going to be quite different this season I think, which is good in a way. I still don't know how he has that much stamina after being tortured in a Chinese prison for two years... But hey, he's Jack Bauer, so that answers that question.

Definitely agree with the Chloe comments, and I liked her sweater last season a lot better. Interesting to see her and her ex interact.

What scares me the most is that the threat is so real so far, watching the guy go on the subway freaked me out cause that's like something that could really happen.

I will say though I was kindof dissapointed that Jack got out of China so easily. It was kindof like a year long cliffhanger for nothing...

Wow good spoiler- I wonder when in the series this will happen? I am way more excited about this season then i was for last season. This spoiler has certainly got me more excited thats for sure!

You know what was my favorite part of the premiere? The part where he BIT the guy! That was hardcore! Also, the part where he kicks the guy out of the train was teh shizzle. The series is off to a great start!

I'm wondering what Kim's been up to these last two years... and what of Audrey? Since Bauer said "I can't do this anymore" or whatever during the commercial, I think that SOMETHING's gonna happen to kick him back into action. I'd bet money that Kim gets kidnapped... again. Hopefully there won't be any stupid Lions this time.

OH MY GOODNESS!! I LOVED it when Jack bit the guy! I laughed hystarically...im kinda morbid that way i guess! lol...and Jack as quiet and thinking he can't do this anymore=SADNESS!!! and you'd think after "5 days" the CTU ppl...or ppl in general would LISTEN TO JACK!! DUH! he's always right! *stupid ppl* lol...I can't wait for 24 tonight!!!!! only 40 more minutes to go!!!!!!!!!!

I love Chloe's acting! It's so quirky and funny, very dry and to the point.

I had shivers down my spine at the end of the 4th episode. Jack looked so hurt from what he had to do, I felt so bad for him. But how awesome in the preview was it:

Buchanan: Jack I thought you said you were out.

Okay, the season premier is over. Curtis is dead and so is part of LA. Quite exciting, I do believe. The question is: where does it go from here? How do they keep the pace and the tension at a max after blowing up LA?

In response to some of the above, I do like Chloe and think the actress portraying her does a fine job. Her face is very expressive. And, while I am sad to see Curtis die, and although he was pivotal at times, I never thought he was an impact player. Perhaps his most consequential contribution was in tonight's episode, in providing us a glimpse into the anguish Jack has to go through while doing his job.

I"m not even sure what to say. Halfway though tonight I mentioned to Mrs Burger that they've done a good job of keeping the twists unexpected. You can't even expect the unexpected, because then they go with what you expected

All I could say at the end of Episode 4 was... OH SNAP! Not only did the bad guys ACTUALLY blow up a nuke, but they've got 4 more? alfkj;dslfj;lniowe! Can't wait for next week.

My mouth hung open for about the last five minutes of that show.

I knew the Curtis thing because I saw a spoiler, but I didn't know it would go down last night, or the way it did. I was suspicious of him from the beginning because he seemed to be acting so cold to Jack. I guess he was feeling the stress of getting Assad.

RIP Curtis. You were no Edgar Stiles, but we'll still miss you.

The nuke at the end, though.... wow. I can't believe 24 actually blew up L.A.!
