China has existed prior to the time of Christ. Chinese ancestor worship dates back to the Neolithic period - or about as long as our Scripture - and during the Roman empires rule over Israel the silk road (or silk routes) was an actual thing.
They exist as our opposite really, and always have, from the religious to the political.
Something written about the proposed new silk road is this:
Two ideas animate this reinvented Silk Road,” Chin writes. “First, the Silk Road provides a model of idealized exchange. […] Second, the Silk Road offers a kind of geopolitical chronotope, that is, a condition or strategy for geopolitical thought and action, as well as background context.”
The idea of a Silk Road, though it conjures up visions of exotic goods passing between Asia and Europe via ancient trade routes, is a thoroughly modern one.

When we look at China and it's opposing style to the Jewish one, it can easily be seen how what existed through Rome in the Roman era, and opposed Christ during his life, exists today in the same form - just in China today. It might have even been born in China then, if it's just a geopolitical thought that opposes our God and our chosen way of life. What came first, China or Rome?
China chose the dragon for themselves. They believe their emperor is a son of heaven or something, in other words, they attribute to their emperor titles that would belong to Christ - or Satan.
Xi Jinping is the new emperor. Just wait, they are increasing all the language about him, giving him godlike status very soon.
For China’s leader to rule indefinitely breaks Communist tradition—but returns to an imperial one.

Something will happen with China. They will stand, seems about ready.
