IHOP, Bethel, it is all the same. Isn't IHOP the one that propped up the likes of Todd Bently who kicks old lady in the stomach and divorces his wife and marries another woman who he was having an affair with then puts her in ministry....

Maybe someday you will start reading your bible more than seeking signs and emotions. Did ya watch any of the videos I posted? To break this down with a bible study is just too long and I really do not think you are interested in such a thing. For the small amount of scripture I already posted you twist and disregard so I have to believe any further examination of scripture with you would just result in the same.
Continue to hope and pray. Some may find the truth.

This sounds awfully self-righteous.
My years have given me enough hindsight to know that assurance is often misjudged as arrogance by those deeming themselves more spiritual than they ought. ;)

Lord whatever your doing in this season don’t do it without me a song I love.thank you DennisTate and Hillsage. I felt like most of the others here years ago till I was in an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in a tent Revival I was in my swimming shorts and a Tee Shirt and was led down the street to the tent Revival I had been working in my garden all sweaty but I obeyed the Spirit and went and there it
was I had been told by someone else that it wasn’t there a few hours earlier so I went past it and drove back past it and was heading home but didn’t make it I turned around and went back and went and sat in the back all sweaty and dirty and the music was live being an x JW we didn’t do that and we all stood an the preacher invited the Holy Spirit to come and be in the presence of the congregation the tent was rocking with people praising GOD and thanking Jesus for Redeeming them and healing them I was the only Caucasian there The man named Marvin preached and prayed over this woman with a crooked neck which layer on her shoulder and she received healing right on the spot a lady with a bad shoulder
Received healing it was like frozen and he prayed and she could move it a little bit and he prayed and she moved it some more till she was able to use it like the other one then he spoke to others and prophesied over them then he brought me up it was like I had lead in my shoes going up there I
Had felt this way only one othe time which lasted three days and he told me the place where I went to Worship was going to offer me a position and it would come quickly in two weeks I was asked o teach the adult Sunday school class ther is a great deal more my Jesus has done in my life I say LORD whatever your doing in this season don’t leave me out to GOD be all the Glory
Loved your testimony Myychael. I’ve known so many over the years whose theology changed when their testimony for more of Him changed.

Not to sound dumb but what is a fire tunnel?

In a fire tunnel..... members of a church line up in two rows.........
facing each other and somebody walks down between these two rows while the Christians to their right and left pray for them............

In the one that was done in my wife's church last Sunday.....
everybody went through the fire tunnel... and everybody there.... prayed for everybody else there.........

I would guess that there were about thirty members there that day......
and I have been feeling amazing things all week.... it is as if my life went to a whole new level of the fear of G-d.... and conviction of sin.... especially my pride........

I also noticed this morning that I was reading a book without the reading glasses that I would usually use.... and I experienced a roughly 95% reduction in lower back pain......

I don't call myself Pentecostal... because I have never spoken in tongues.....
and I have never been slain in the spirit as I have seen happen to many people.... but I have definitely take some major steps toward becoming Pentecostal or Charismatic this past week.....

You mean Mike Bickle who admits with a smile that 80% of their so called prophecies are false? What's the allowance for false prophecies from prophets in the Bible? Zero. The same Mike Bickle involved with the Kansas city prophets? Have you ever read about the false teachers involved with that group?

I was a pentecostal for 28 of my 36 years alive. Thank God he delivered me from the whole system.

Actually...... we are finally living in the time period when we can
look at the prophecy of Jonah in a new light...........
G-d is so powerful that Ezekiel chapter 37 is not limited to being a one time event......
but evidence exists that G-d can resurrect all of the dead who ever lived... without even working up a sweat..........
Theoretical Physicists call it Multiverse Theory.......

In one time line where the Holy Spirit is poured out at a lower level......
the mark of the beast could well have taken place by around the year 2008... but in our time line...... where more of the Holy Spirit has been asked for... and given... the mark of the beast as it occurred in another time line has been delayed and delayed and delayed.......

A better explanation of this is here:

Multiverse Theory and multiple Ezekiel 37 type events.

If... this new Multiverse Theory is basically true.....
what Dannion Brinkley was shown about the Mark of the Beast
might perhaps be avoided in our time line now...... or fulfilled very differently.

Dannion Brinkley, Saved By The Light, chapter 5

Then again it could turn out somewhat similar in spite of the fact that in our time line this seems to have been delayed by at least twenty years.

Where is "fire tunnel" in the bible or anything that even represents such a thing.
Brother don't be deceived.

The gentleman in this video I have seen before and he's a pretty solid Bible guy.

Man's always looking for some touchy-feely thing which can be dangerous and might even be from the other side the wrong side.

Can I ask you why you believe it is, that you don't have your prayer language?

I've never heard Kake News make such a statement. So does that mean you're a liar? Or does it mean I missed it, as well as the purpose for you saying what you just did.

So does that mean you're a liar?

I was sharing the truth.

Your statement to that person was not bible-based. Do you think speaking in tongues carries a lot of weight? If so you are very wrong -- according to the Gospel.

Maybe I got your message sent to that person wrong?
Sounds like speaking in tongues is the (only) way in which to pray to God?
As if it is a requirement?
I have attended many churches and only at one did they speak in tongues (high priority).
Most of what I saw and heard there was forced and not real.

I will try my best to be fair here.
Here is a man with a middle of the road stance regarding speaking in tongues.
I lean more in another direction but, he does speak the truth according to the bible.
Listen carefully for he covers your statement made.
I have never seen this gentleman before but -- good teaching.

Not what I was saying, and not what I believe. I pray in tongues and I also pray in English just as the bible says I should do.

1 Corinthians 14:15 What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, (my spirit not the Holy Spirit and tongues not English) and I will pray with the understanding also: (My mind/soul in English) I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

And yes, I sing :musicnotes: in English as well as tongues also.

Maybe forced and not real maybe not. I don't know since I wasn't there to judge it from my Charismatic POV.

I will try my best to be fair here.
I appreciate that effort.

He may be middle of the road in your opinion, but he's on the wrong road to begin with in my opinion. ;) He made so many of the errors which I see coming from so many like him, that I quit watching the video on my phone coming home from church (wife driving). But now I'm at my laptop and re reading what you said about him 'covering my statement'. If that's true then I either missed it or never got that far. But, to be fair to you I will watch it to the end and then return to finish.

OK, I finished. And the errors continued. Not once did he deal with the scriptures with countered his 'one singular definition of tongues', that being languages of men. I have dealt with those verses he used, as well as the ones he ignored. I dealt with them because I too have been in 'non' Charismatic and Charismatic churches. I was raised for 21 years in a 'non Charismatic' indoctrinated environment. As a matter of fact my LEARNING came from believing like the video guy, to my UNLEARNING to believe where I'm at today. So apparently it is he who needs to UNLEARN now IMO. I say that because he wants me to believe the only thing he's ever known. That's why he can't see his many errors IMO. And I think it's why others don't see also.

That's why I asked for Sunshine to tell me why she, as a Pentecostal doesn't pray in tongues. I'm asking because if she is also believing one of the errors they make, then maybe I can help her to receive truth along with her prayer language. That was my motivation.

And scriptural support for 'that comment of mine' comes from the following.

ACT 2:15 For these men are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day;

EPH 5:18 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery; but be filled with the Spirit,

So if they 'weren't drunk on Pentecost' but were filled with the Spirit instead as Eph suggests, where is your churches manifestation of such "mad" 'antics'?

Let me help you with your bible understanding. In acts 2 they said these men are not drunk because they were yelling early in the day. This statement was not because they were jerking and laughing uncotrollably but because it was not normal for people to be shouting or lifting their voices early in the day.

Eph 5 which you are completely twisting says clearly do not be DRUNK with wine but FILLED with the SPIRIT. This does not mean be drunk in the spirit, he is saying be filled with the Spirit as opposed to being out of control drunk with wine. People who take this scripture to mean drunk in the spirit are totally twisting the meaning.

Help me with my bible understanding. o_O That has never happened yet. But if it ever does I'll admit it, just like I did earlier this morning on another thread. So instead, why not let me help you; nothing is said about them "yelling early in the morning" (first lie), and as for "not normal for people to blah blah blah." (second lie) Seriously where do you get this stuff? Either PROVE it biblically, present it as an assumption, or shut up. Scripture states "this which you SEE and HEAR". I suppose now you're going to tell me that 'SEE' was written for the benefit of the deaf people in the crowd who were the ones who 'SAW' them talking that morning...excuse me YELLING. There is nothing in that text to support you bringing the bible down to your level of spiritual inexperience. But IMO they SAW/HEARD them acting drunk. Why do I say that, because they were talking in their spirit's prayer tongues first. Which might have even surprised them to ACT differently maybe???? And it was those prayer tongues which "no man understands" scripturally which were KJV "NOISED ABROAD" and attracted a crowd. A crowd which had people who actually understood the language when the manifestation of the Holy Spirit (not their spirit prayer tongue) came upon them and they then spoke in the languages of men. Now the idiotes (locals who may have actually known these heretic disciples of Jesus) are calling them drunk, but the foreign visitors are shocked and want to know how these guys know the language of their country. Now will that fit your theological box? As always from you....No!!!, but it fits mine just like a Spirit tailored robe of righteousness. Have I made a few declared assumptions? YES, but at least they are logical.

Your totally unsupported POV. Mine rests on the fact that PETER himself compared what the idiotes people back then, thought Spirit baptized people looked like, and it was drunkeness. I'm just connecting the dots. And nothing had changed 50 years later when Paul was still trying to protect the idiotes people from getting freaked out if they stumbled in to the 100% Charismatic Corinthian church and called them "MAD" or as NIV says "out of your mind". Which again sounds a bit like DRUNK to me. But unlike you I'm not going to say that's what the bible says I'm going to use my sound mind and compare it to my spiritual experience and say all these scriptures 'match' close enough for me. All the while your POV sounds as idiotes to me as it appears to have, to Paul.

For those possibly new. The word idiotes is Greek for Christian newcomers who weren't Charismatics, as opposed to those newcomers who were non Christians or "unbelievers/apistos" which is defined as 'without faith'.

NAS 1 Corinthians 14:23 Therefore if the whole church assembles together and all speak in tongues, and ungifted/idiotes men or unbelievers enter, will they not say that you are mad?

KJV 1 Corinthians 14:23 If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned/idiotes, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?

NIV 1 Corinthians 14:23 So if the whole church comes together and everyone speaks in tongues, and some who do not understand/idiotes or some unbelievers come in, will they not say that you are out of your mind?

Please note that the NIV is a tad kinder and gentler in its description of these idiotes rebuke of Charismatics. It just says we're 'out of our mind'. Kind of sounds just like those today who say we're speaking Gibberish and Babble. Sounds just like "out of your mind" to me anyway. Oh well I admittedly read my bible differently than most here, and that's a PROVEN fact.

Gee I don't know where I get it, maybe a commentary from an actual theologian.

Ellicott's Commentary for English Readers
(13) These men are full of new wine.--Literally, of sweet drink--the word "wine" not being used--stronger and more intoxicating than the lighter and thinner wines that were ordinarily drunk. The Greek word was sometimes used, like the Latin mustum, for the unfermented grape-juice. Here, however, the context shows that wine, in the strict sense of the word, was intended, and the use of the same word in the LXX. of Job 32:19 confirms this meaning. The word for "new wine" in Matthew 9:17, Mark 2:22, is different, but there also (see Notes) fermentation is implied. The words, as has been said above (Note on Acts 2:4), point to a certain appearance of excitement in tone, manner, and words.

A certain excitement, or loud voice, talking loud early in the day, like I said.

Now let's see how humble you truly are.
