CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I got a new apartment in the last couple of week and have been saving up for a very long time to refurnish it.
This is the finished product.
I am still getting used to it. It still doesn't quite feel like home since everything is new and shiny and hasn't been "lived in" yet. I don't own a TV (and don't want one) but the living room was set up for conversation and such. Can't wait to get soe art on the walls and get some bible studies/game night going on.
looks great! Too bad you live so far away I'm a sucker for games!

Sweetlamb -- your avatar does you no justice. You're beautiful; such graceful features.. and I am a little jealous b/c you have such nice ears (mine look like satellite dishes!)
Ishida -- if only. If only you were about 10 years older, 6'4" and interested in me. Seriously. Whew.
Boarder Dave -- I love/hate you b/c of your lifestyle. You do exactly what you've probably been dreaming of doing since you were 2 years old. And that's flippin' cool. Nevermind the hair.

No.. there is no need to have those feelings towards me. Its not all fun. hah. I admit.. I definitely make it a habit of doing the things I love and have access to, but it's definitely not all great. hah. In fact.. I dont know what Ive dreamt of doing. That's why Im so all over the place all the time, cause I love everything, so I try to do it all. haha. Life is about experiences. Building memories and having fun with the people and places that God brings in your life.
Speaking of experiences... went to Vegas last weekend. It was great fun.
Stayed at the Luxor!

How far is vegas from you? Love what you wrote; that's how I love to live and encourage people to live as well.
Monday I spent some time hanging around Seattle until the Birks came home from Spokane so I could see them. Some of that time was killed at the Q Cafe - my FAVORITE cafe.. my home away from home.
Cute little army of tulips from the last time I went to the tulip fest.
If our silence would cause rocks to cry out, perhaps the flowers would bow.
I frequently take pictures of my feet; I have no idea why. I was trying really hard to incorporate every aspect of my outfit - the two layers of dresses, the necklaces, and the leggings. Fail! I have no legs!!!
That was supposed to be an example of what I wear when I am sick and don't give a crap about what I wear.. but instead ended up being a weird thing where I am missing a leg and kind of very blurry. That's my fave oversized tshirt, though - Elton & Billy
Speaking of being sick.. I've been sick! This was Day 1 attempt at recovery. tea, aleve, cough drops, cough syrup, vitamin C and America's next top model
A great night for me - cutting things out of magazines, eating popcorn from a pink bowl, wearing pink pajamas, and watching TV. So relaxing
Bram getting some help with signing a card for his mom.
My friends in a band called The BGP had a show and they KILLED IT. They were amazing. On June 23rd, tune in to "America's Got Talent" and you can see them there
Me and my grandma. She's been winning me a whole bunch of stuff at Bingo, so I went over and picked it up. Plus she's wearing a cute little outfit, I'm proud.

It's only a few hours drive.. about 4 and half.. 5 if you hit any traffic. Not too bad though. Good to hear you enjoy life in that way as well. Great pictures!

That's not bad at all.. do you make it to Vegas often? The farthest I venture normally is Seattle which is about 3 hours. Soon I will be frequenting San Francisco.. which is about 13 hours, so that will be so full of adventure haha
