CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My grandma is 80, so I try to treat every holiday as if it's the last one we'll celebrate together. After we finished lunch, she called me over and gave me a charm bracelet that has a charm for me, my sister, and my dad on it and told me she wanted meto have it. It was hard not to cry.

I got a new apartment in the last couple of week and have been saving up for a very long time to refurnish it.
This is the finished product.
I am still getting used to it. It still doesn't quite feel like home since everything is new and shiny and hasn't been "lived in" yet. I don't own a TV (and don't want one) but the living room was set up for conversation and such. Can't wait to get soe art on the walls and get some bible studies/game night going on.

Here's the story behind the kitten -
It had flooded really bad the night before at my apartment, and when we came back, this little guy and two of his brothers and sisters had washed up to our front door. The mom eventually came back for the other two, but she abandoned this one. I found him a good home, but I couldn't resist taking a few photos first. He reminds me of a little lion.
