What is the worst date you have ever been on? One where she showed up to our date (the first one) with her 2 year old daughter. The thing is, I would have TOTALLY understood if she had a babysitter problem and needed to cancel or postpone it till another time. The restaurant that I took her to had a decent wait time to get a table, (I don't make a habit of taking dates to McDonald's), and the baby was not in a "waiting" mood at that moment if you get my drift. Needless to say, that was an awkward evening to say the least.
What is the best date you have ever been on? Brandi Hallgarth, July/August 2001, Mill Race Park, perfect weather, stars were out. We just walked through the park, held hands, and talked about life. Totally natural. We climbed up to the top of the park's observation tower and looked down on all the "little" people and cars for awhile, feeling like emperors up there. And that's where I kissed her for the first time.
Would you rather climb a mountian or go to the beach? The mountain wins: by a very close margin. When I lived in California, it was a tradition for us to go up into the Sierra/Nevada's around the holiday season. There's just something about being at a higher elevation, (closer to God?), and that brisk mountain air that seems to make all of life's problems seem so insignificant, and all the truly important things in life much more apparent.
