  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    So lost.

Hi. I joined this site almost a year ago when I had a similar feeling of being very lost. I never acted on it and I wish I had so that I could look to Godly advice now. My husband and I have been married for almost three years and have dated for almost 9. I am almost 28. We've had many ups and...

Not the blessing I counted on.

To explain my situation, you must first understand that as a young guy who's recently graduated from university studying criminology, I am convinced that God has called me to study at the master's level in England (I'm in Canada). In my second year the idea began to grow and grow until I applied...

The most hated command of Jesus... (video)

Hi all. Here's another video. It's roughly 22 minutes long, but the last 3 minutes are a song. It's here in the controversial section for a reason, so be prepared for some pretty shocking observations. I look forward to some stimulating debate! (Note: There have been three additional videos...

The Greatest Commandment...But Who's Obeying It?

Hi all. Here's another video. It's roughly 22 minutes long, but it has a fantastic message. I look forward to hearing what others think.

Are You a Slave or a King? (PART 1)

“I think the person who takes a job in order to live—that is to say, for the money—has turned himself into a slave.”—Joseph Campbell. Many people have become slaves to their jobs, and they are in no way living for their true destiny and purpose in life; people are struggling hard to make ends...

DEBUNKED! SDA and the Mark of the Beast (short video)

Hi all. Here's another video. This one's a little longer at 12 minutes, but that's mostly because of popular demand regarding the topic. The title of the video is a little sensational but the content is mean to offer a realistic presentation of information on how scripture, (particularly...

Precious Metals - Intrinsic Value recognized for centuries

I found this video interesting. I have met people like this, and they do not understand that this will increase in price as paper money decreases. Some people do not understand, and others have different opinions. What do you think?

    Laying money at the alter?

Was wondering what are some of your thoughts about people laying money down at the alter? I used to go to a Pentecostal church where this would happen alot. The preacher will be preaching a word and alot of people would get really excited and come up to the front and start putting money down at...

A year alone on Mars? For how much money?

What would it take for you to spend a year alone on Mars without any communication with Earth. I mean, the human imagination tends to go haywire after a while and what was formerly brushed aside as mere wind-blown sand against the shelters hull can begin sounding like the scratches of claws...

    Vanished

Sunday, September 18, 2016, 5:50 a.m. – The Lord Jesus put in mind the song “More Precious Than Silver.” Speak, Lord, your words to my heart. I read Revelation 18:11-24 (NIV). Not Recovered (vv. 11-14) “The merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her because no one buys their cargoes...

Tithing was before the Law of Moses!

We can see, in Genesis, 14:20, that Abraham gave a tithe to Melchizedek, who was a priest to the Almighty God. Jesus is our High Priest, according to Melchizedek, according to the Bible! So we give a tithe, to our High Priest and God, Jesus Christ! Obviously, Abraham lived before the Law of...

The four types of financial giving in the Bible

Money in itself, is not good or bad. The way it is used makes it good or bad. If God can get the money through you, he will get it to you. Water which passes through the pipe, to its destination, also wets the pipe. People who preach against prosperity, will never have it. You can not...

Christians in the Money Twelve Step Groups (DA, UA, CLA)

I am not sure if other Christians have tried to get recovery in these groups. I was involved for about five years but I found that it was hard to be in a very hard core group of people who were actively saying things against Christianity and professing a lot of New Age/Occult beliefs. I also...

Why don't more Christians tithe? Or at least give a little?

The statistics of giving in todays culture are pretty terrible. The Church could have a HUGE impact if everyone tithed. Check out these 5 things the Church COULD do if every Christian tithed: https://rethinknow.org/2016/05/31/5-things-that-could-happen-if-the-church-tithed/
