  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

    Enslaved Again?

Do you lay claims to being a follower of Jesus Christ? Does your walk match your talk? Or are you, behind closed doors, someone else entirely? The Lord Jesus led me to read Galatians 4 (Select vv. NASB). However, at that time, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those which by nature...

    Carried Away?

The Lord Jesus led me to read 2 Peter 3 (Select vv. NASB). When we, as believers in Jesus Christ, trust in Him to be Lord and Savior of our lives, we are delivered both from slavery to sin and the punishment of sin, which is spiritual death, which is eternity without God in the fires of hell...

    Christian Topics-Faith, Hope, Circumstances-Romans 4:18-21

Christian Topics-Faith, Hope, Circumstances-Romans 4:18-21 Believing God’s promises in faith, for a change in our circumstances, is not a denial of what is happening in our circumstances, and is not a denial of the obvious facts. We can see clearly, that Abraham was aware of the fact, that the...

    Hello world

Fellow programmers will get my title :) Hello Christian Forums members. I am a father, a recent grandfather (yay!), a husband, a programmer and a Jesus freak. I am interested in chatting with people about this amazing life we have been granted in Jesus. In a world that is so harsh and hopeless...

    Brain Fog & Doubt...

Over the past couple of days I haven't been feeling myself. Its hard to describe. I just don't feel like me. And ive never really felt like this before. Its quite scary to be honest. And ever since this 'brain fog' has been happening, Ive been experiencing quite a bit of doubt. Doubt in God and...

The Sun Will Rise... Just Not Yet.

"Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise." - Les Miserables Hoo boy this quote and waiting on the Lord are literally the only things getting me through the catastrophe that has been these past few months. I'm caught in a weird place between being calm because I hope that God will...

Don't Sweat The Small Stuff !

Declare once and for all that the law is dead! There are laws and then there are commandments. The former being temporal and latter being eternal. There are considerations for both, especially as it related to the jews, which we are not. God's intent is not for us to go back to the old ways...

A Road that Only Gets Tougher

Hey everyone! My name is Chris. I have a link to a GoFundMe here, so the immediate info is there. I just wanted to go into more detail so that it's easier to understand how we got to this point. I was adopted to a non-spiritual and anti-religious family, I have always been spiritual and...

    Heavenly Rewards Hope

My faith is steady and I am working hard on my love because it is my weakest but my hope has been lacking lately too so I decided to go through the beatitudes and the letters to the churches in Revelation and make a list of Heavenly rewards to keep me hopeful and motivated. If I have missed some...

When It Feels Like No One Is Listening...

Does it ever feel like you're just talking to your ceiling? Even though I know God is always there, sometimes it's as if he isn't listening to me. Or he's just looking down on me, unresponsive. Sometimes his silence is infuriating; why does he leave me when I'm in so much pain? It's a hard...

    Help?

I became a born-again Christian when I was 18, I'm 24 now. My family is not Christian and I have a super broken family. My dad left when I was 14, this really affected my mom because she depended a lot on him. She has epilepsy and suffers with depression and also does not speak much English. She...

The Practical Christian Series. - Strife.

In God’s world, strife is an abomination and so it should be for the Christian. This is not the same as having Righteous indignation for something that is appalling. Whenever strife exists, then so will every device of satan including confusion, usurping and distrust. All these retard or put to...

    Improving...

Hey everyone, I've thought I'd let everyone know how I've been improving recently, as a way to make for all my complaining on this sub-forum. I've discovered that FishEaters (https://www.fisheaters.com) is a great treasure trove of Traditional Catholic resources. In fact, if wasn't for this...

Seeking Christian Wife but Doesn't Exist?

Hi all, I'm new to this forum and need advice, suggestions, just anything at this point. I'm not OK at all. The hole in my heart has become catastrophic and prayer does nothing. I've been darkening in my mind like most existentialists and my soul has become sick. I do not feel love, only...

    Pocket Full Of Poetry

Hello again! So I was not planning to turn this blog into a poetry blog, and I don't think I will necessarily, though it may pop up now and again. ;) I posted tonight in the Praise section about how I suddenly find myself able to write poetry again after many years of nothing, and I believe it...

What to Do When You Are Sinking in Despair

Psalm 71:5, 6, 14, 20, 21, Psalm 73:23, 26, 28 This is all of us who believe, have to do, when we sink in the various trials and difficulties of life. Like king David did, rely on his God, all the time, even in the worst situations, when he had oppression and enemies from all directions. His...

    (Blog) Spiritual Darkness

I've been thinking about this lately, more than I have in the past. I think it's incredibly easy for us in the West to lose perspective of things - both when we think our political situation is horrible and when we think that everything is fine in the Church. The fact is, Satan is continuously...

    How to be an Overcomer

"Blessed and holy is the one who has part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years." Rev. 20: 4,6. I found this study helpful in discovering simple truths that if allowed to...

Battling 13 years of Acne - Last ounce of hope

My acne started around 13 years ago. I began praying to God, asking him to clear my skin, around high school. I presume God's answer was one of two below: 1) "No." 2) "Wait." Here I am 13 years later, battling acne still. I really don't know how I survived spiritually or mentally with this...

My Lord, My God, My Cross.

My Lord, My God, my Cross. There is nothing that is more transformational than coming to the realization that your life was more important than that of Jesus. And that no greater love exist than to give yours for another as stated, “No greater love” - Jn. 15:13. For when God saw the future of...
