CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

That's understandable but why medical articles say the same thing. Why not say the truth, for example, "the result of skin contact can range from nothing to severe burns"

Because then people might not wash it off. And some acids go through the skin and kill the nerves so there is no pain or scaring but significant internal damage.

I cautioned my children never to run around while holding sharp objects. I have repeated the caution with my grandchildren. Despite such cautions my children and grandchildren have all, at one time or another, run around while holding sharp objects. And yet none of them has ever suffered a serious injury as a result of this carelessness. Does this mean that my cautions were therefore unnecessary and misleading? Of course not. They were cautions. "Don't do this because you increase the probability that something nasty will happen to you."
@timewerx seems to think because he has, metaphorically, run around with a sharp sitck, yet suffered no injury, that he has been lied to, he has been deceived. To continue to think this after the corrections and clarifications offered here by several members suggests an aberration of thought that no amount of reasoned argument will correct.

Hydrochloric acid, known as HCl, at 25% concentration (which is what muriatic acid is) would have a pH of something between 1 and 2. That is a very strong acid. How much damage it would do on exposed skin would depend on a number of things, including how long it remained on the skin and how thick the layer of dead skin cells would be.
It's nothing to mess around with. You should always wear goggles handling it, as it can blind you it it splashes in your eyes. If you get it on your skin, the best thing to do is flood the skin with water. At sufficient dilution, HCl is basically harmless. Mildly basic materials like baking soda can neutralize it safely, turning it to what is essentially table salt. It's not toxic; your stomach has HCl in pretty high concentration. It's what causes heartburn when stomach acid somehow gets into the esophagus.

If the danger of muriatic acid is being exaggerated, then we're being deceived. Deception is major component of conspiracy. I haven't figure out the reason yet. But corporate deception is often for the purpose of gaining an advantage or preventing others from gaining an advantage.
My skin could also be unusually resistant or low reactivity to powerful acids. The acidity of my skin can be well above average for specific reasons, mainly my lifestyle, diet, and the low PH soap I use.

Buddy, you are 100% overthinking this to an extreme. If you can't figure out the reason for a conspiracy, then there is none. It's all in your head.
You got lucky with some acid, but that does not mean that other people have not been seriously harmed by it. Why ignore all their testimonials and the evidence that it is dangerous just to believe that your conspiracy is something valid?

Your post history really does seem to suggest that you get caught up in conspiracy thoughts on the regular. You need to get a hold on that.
I say this as someone wanting to help: have you ever experienced the symptoms of paranoia? Or thinking that you are detecting patterns in normal day to things like numbers or words?

Muriatic acid (31.45%) dissolved soft tissue totally in 6h. They didn't give the exact weight of the soft tissue, my personal guess from the other data given is between 2-5 grams dissolved in ~28 grams(?, I uncertain about my 1 fl. oz to grams conversions). Thank you, for putting me on a watchlist
