While companies such as Bud Light and Target have drifted left, leading to boycotts and backlash, conservative entrepreneurs spent much of 2023 creating a parallel economy to give consumers more products that align with their values.
Conservative leaders described to Just the News how they got involved in businesses by creating multiple alternatives in banking, books, shopping, job boards and music.
Last year, country music star John Rich announced the creation of a new bank for Americans who support freedom of speech and have concerns about their existing bankers punishing them – and their accounts – for publicly backing issues that their banks don't support.

If a bank takes money from an account holder because they disagree with the account holder's opinion then that is theft and is punishable by law as such.

Any evidence of this actually happening or being proposed as a potential policy?

"People are having their bank accounts frozen, suspended and sometimes completely turned off," Rich said on the Just the News, No Noise TV show. "It disrupts their business in such a way that a lot of people lose their businesses when that happens. So that's another hill as we say... we have to build hills that people can run to."

Earlier this year, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, subpoenaed Bank of America, requesting information related to the firm's voluntary sharing of customer data with the FBI to aid its Jan. 6 investigations.

Wait… One of the recurring complaints I hear conservatives levy against immigrants (esp illegals) is that they don’t assimilate into our culture. But here we have an article praising conservatives for not assimilating into the broader culture (a lesson I was repeatedly taught as a church-going teen).

Can someone clarify for me when it’s good to assimilate into American culture and when it isn’t?

Being suspected of a crime has always had the potential for your account to be frozen by a governing authority.

Who froze their accounts, the bank at the behest of a legal authority, or the bank completely of their own volition?
From what I’ve seen on reddit and elsewhere, it’s typically the bank doing it on their own, after something throws up red flags in their system, usually regarding anti-money laundering regs. If the complaints are to be taken at face value, there’s often little-to-no warning or explanation (which may or may not be due to regulations- I’m unclear on that point) and they can hold the money for some uncomfortably-long period of time (60 days iirc).

It does sound like there are some legitimate complaints about the system and it could use some transparency and improved due process, but I’m not aware of “speech” being much of a trigger.

The key word in the citation is voluntary. Had the FBI presented a subpoena and Bank of America complied, that would have been far different.

Here's a cite: Chairmen Jordan and Massie Expand Investigation into Banks Voluntarily Sharing Customers’ Private Financial Data with the FBI

Note the words "voluntarily and without any legal process"

Since you asked for a cite on banks freezing accounts, here's one:
