More and more people like Bloomberg are talking about a recession in 2024. They were also talking about it in 2022?? I hope everyone is paying down their debt because the way the FED operates with high-interest rates is to create unemployment to reduce demand.

I've seen this show before in the 1970s and early 1980s. Unfortunately, the only way to correct inflation is a recession, or worse, depression. Whether that means a recession in 2024 I haven't a clue. But if we don't have a recession, we'll have continued inflation.

Many are saying a recession will hit the first quarter of 2024 ... there is movement in the stock market with major players ... Warren Buffet being one of them ... hard to say ... I have always lived with minimal debt knowing it enslaves a person ... recession or not .... people should keep their debt to a minimum.

That's what I tell my kids but they won't listen.

As money-hungry as our government is because of uncontrolled spending you have to stay ahead of the game. One by doing what you are doing; with today's high-interest rates use an online high-yield savings account. Wells Fargo only pays .5% lol. Buy tangible assets or learn to invest in stocks.
