So we are supposed to assume, because Tucker showed maybe an hour of Jan 6 video, that we can ignore the other 43,999 hours of video? So if I show 0.2% of the video of a bank robbery, where they are sitting around taking a break, does that mean they must be innocent regardless of what the other 99.8% of the video shows?

Tucker is all about theatre and pandering to his audience. He does not present news. He is not a journalist. He is an entertainer, for those that like his brand of entertainment. Much like a professional wrestler is not a wrestler and does not compete, but is instead an entertainer, following a script to please the audience.

The armed capitol police welcomed (Shaman) and his company, so much they gave him a private tour, and opened the senate chamber doors for him and hung around for the prayer meeting that took place

Tucker Carlson and the OP aside, I clearly remember seeing capitol police letting those folks have the run of the place. It was pretty clear they had received orders to stand down. It's pretty unlikely that buch would have gotten very far if officials were actually protecting the capitol building from being invaded. It's pretty clear they wanted it to go take place.

This is also untrue. Every one of those "let them in" claims can be disproven (and have).
