Once again capitol police in authority removed barricades and capitol police in authority gave escorts inside the building just as the capitol police chief stated, yes tgey were allowed to enter and remain in the building by the capitol police in authority

We're in the realm of redundancy at this point
If they were allowed to do it, they wouldn’t have been suspended my dude.

18 USC 1752(a)(1)

(a)Whoever—
(1)
knowingly enters or remains in any restricted building or grounds without lawful authority to do so;

(b)The punishment for a violation of subsection (a) is—

(2)
a fine under this title or imprisonment for not more than one year, or both, in any other case.

(Fines:)

Section 3571 (b)Fines for Individuals.—Except as provided in subsection (e) of this section, an individual who has been found guilty of an offense may be fined not more than the greatest of—
(5)
for a Class A misdemeanor that does not result in death, not more than $100,000;

The largest sentence was 1/3rd of the maximum (120 days out of 365).
The largest fine was a few thousand dollars out of a maximum of $100,000

Some of the larger fines were imposed at the request of the DOJ because the defendants were raising money on their crimes. The $525 "base" level is a $500 restitution to the Architect of the Capitol for repairs and cleanup and a $25 "court fee".
It sounds like a lot of folks were given the authority to do so by the police.

The Tucker Carlson link has been added to the OP, I forgot the link in posting
Tucker has been caught lying, multiple times. All he wants to do is cause chaos and hate . Why would anyone , especially religious people listen to him?

The capitol police was the authority at the capitol building on Jan 6th, the capitol police removed barricades allowing attendees into the building, capitol police gave escorts in the building

The capitol police on Jan 6th allowed many attendees into the building, they allowed them to stay in the building giving tours/escorts, just as the capitol police chief described and the Tucker Carlson video clip showed

The capitol police was the authority at the capitol building on Jan 6th,
They did not have the authority to let people enter any more than your local police have the authority to let the public enter your home.
the capitol police removed barricades allowing attendees into the building, capitol police gave escorts in the building
Which was outside of their authority.

The capitol police on Jan 6th allowed many attendees into the building, they allowed them to stay in the building giving tours/escorts, just as the capitol police chief described and the Tucker Carlson video clip showed
Which wasn’t part of their authority or job. And Tucker Carlson is a known liar who admits to doing so in order to drum up ignorant people and make a buck. Anybody who believes him even knowing he laughs at the audience he caters to is a fool.

Many of the attendees were allowed to enter the building and given escourt in the building just as the capitol police chief explains below, your opinion is "Silenced"

NPR

Capitol Police Suspends 6 Officers, Investigates Dozens More After Capitol Riots

February 19, 2021

"The investigation into the January 6 attack remains under investigation. Our Office of Professional Responsibility is investigating the actions of 35 police officers from that day. We currently have suspended six of those officers with pay," the department said in a statement.

Capitol Police Acting Chief Yogananda Pittman further directed that any member whose behavior is not in keeping with the department's Rules of Conduct "will face appropriate discipline."

The department "has been actively reviewing video and other open source materials of some USCP officers and officials that appear to be in violation of Department regulations and policies," she said on Jan. 11.

Videos from the day of the attack appear to show some officers escorting rioters inside the building. In one video, USCP officers can be seen opening barricades allowing the mob to enter the Capitol complex without resistance.
My opinion is “silenced?” What does that even mean? As far as I’m concerned, I see a guy regurgitating propaganda and when confronted with people who won’t fall for it, the best comeback he has is “be quiet.”

I can be quiet, but that doesn’t suddenly make you right. It makes you wrong, but without the hassle of being reminded of it by people more knowledgeable on the topic than you.

Your opinion is manufactured and a total rewrite of the event.

I watched the whole January 6th thing when it was happening. To be honest I really didn't think much of it. (Maybe I'd been jaded by all the other riots during that time.) I certainly wasn't concerned that it was some sort of "insurrection" or serious uprising against the government. Just another demonstration getting a bit out of hand. I thought at least their taking the protest directly to those who could do something about it and not just terrorizing innocent shop owners. I know some people saw it as a real attempt to over throw the government, if so it was a very feeble attempt.

It was a feeble attempt because Mr Trump had to hide his culpability. And his minions are...laughable if not deplorable. They were certainly deplorable January 6th. Their "taking the protest directly to those who could do something about it" was Mr Trump's insidious plan to halt the certification of his loss. Yet he could only suggest, not order, they march to the Capitol in order to play the plausible deniability card. Plausible deniability is a real thing. We're about to find out just how valid Donald's claims of deniability will be in court. Evidence doesn't seem too plausible so far.

Yet it likely wouldn't have altered the insurrection's outcome if he did all of it openly. Few Trump endeavors bear fruit. He wouldn't have succeeded and would already be in prison or worse. I think Donald Trump believes his rioters dropped the ball and hung him out to dry. I've heard scuttlebutt myself. I simply choose not to repeat it all.

I can't wait till America wakes from this mass Trump delusion. I'm fixin to start drinking again. Hey, it's an idea at that.

I had to look it up before posting to 7t7:
"noun
The act or an instance of open revolt against civil authority or a constituted government."

Most violent protests in America could be considered an insurrection where police are attacked in a city or state, by definition. The constituted government is how I determine whether these violent rioters wanted to overthrow our government or take over our government. The capitol police's actions are what give me a different view of insurrection.
The Jan 6th event for 2 years has been described as a (Riot) in the MSM and every communication I've seen, it's only been in the past 1 year or so that the MSM has changed the narrative from (Riot) to the word (Insurrection) a political move, let's get Donald Trump with Jack Smith as prosecutor

To you guys in a tribe, the word "insurrection" is important. I'll just wait and let the laws prevail. Your right-wing arguments in this thread confuse me because you are fighting for rioters who have pleaded guilty.

these Americans were allowed entrance and given escorts by the capitol police, they weren't "Rioters" as you falsely claim, and some were jailed up to 6 months and fined up to $10,000?
You are using the 'two wrongs make a right' defense. If police were giving 'escorts' as you say, then those police should also be punished. However there is no path to innocence for those who walked through broken windows or entered doors by those who broke windows then unlocked doors.

They were not supposed to be inside the building, and were LAWFULLY arrested and convicted. They were interfering with Congressional duty of certifying the Presidential election for President Biden.

You are defending legally convicted criminals. Good for you. Maybe you can support them by sending their families money?

I'm fighting for peaceful and patriotic Americans that were denied capitol video surveillance from federal prosecutors and the Jan 6th committee "that proved their innocence", these Americans were allowed entrance and given escorts by the capitol police, they weren't "Rioters" as you falsely claim, and some were jailed up to 6 months and fined up to $10,000?
You said that already, and it still is irrelevant. Also, there is no need to keep posting the same links to Tuck. It makes it look like you are somehow promoting him here. He is a disgraced man and proven liar.

Then fight for the ones who claimed themselves innocent not the ones who have said they were guilty. You are projecting your presumptions onto each of these cases in which all these defendants had legal counsel. Hans gave you the law. As I've always been told "Ignorance of the law is no excuse"
At 2:40 seconds your Tucker video shows breaking and entering. A guy was peppered sprayed some more followed and opened the front door.
These people were not let in.

My argument isn't changing, the federal prosecution withheld exculpatory evidence from lawyers prior to sentencing "Unlawful"

Tucker Carlson interviews Chansley's lawyer, exculpatory video surveillance was withheld by the federal prosecutors prior to sentencing

Tucker Carlson, Jan 6th Released Video Footage 5:38 Telling A Different Story

Nothing screams patriotism or peacefulness louder than calling for the death of the Vice President and Speaker of the House.

If it happened under Obama, it would have been a coup attempt and insurrection.

Because it was under Trump, it was a nice speech followed by a parade and a tour, with light refreshments.
