Abortion is a killer. How about taking away their choice and mandate sterilization? We are heading toward socialism. Seems appropriate for the time.
I'm just the messenger.

Numbers of abortions drop significantly under Democrat administrations, which promote policies that reduce the need for abortions, rather than the cruder approach of trying to control individual behaviour the GOP favours. The difference is significant - a 30/26% drop under Clinton/Obama compared to 3-4% under Reagan and Bush. The data makes it clear that anyone keen to reduce abortion should vote democrat, unless they share the unfortunate preference for fantasy over data.

Your poll needs another option - responsible policies promoting sex education, availability of contraception and other measures that have a significant impact on the numbers of abortions performed, rather than policies based on fantasy and emotion.

In the early days of communism in China it is not a choice.
The Chinese communist party came to power in 1949. The one child policy began in the eighties.

Makes nonsense to sterilize women. It's too tricky to reverse.

Now if you're talking about forced vasectomies in conjunction with illegal abortion I am 100% on board with that!

There's a level of destructive irresponsibility that should
result in sterilization for men and women both.

I've known Catholics that used BC. So . it's BS.

"I've known Christians who didn't [pray/fast/forgive/serve others] so it's BS."

The righteousness of a Divine Law in no way depends on it's followers.

To me this seems one of the strangest notions in Christendom. How can contraception possibly be 'evil'?

It perverts the nature of the sexual act intrinsically. Every moral sexual act is "natural [not anal, oral, manipulative, not masturbation, not between persons of the same gender, possibly propagating in essence], marital [not premarital, not in adultery, in a false marriage, etc], and open to life." Any act that lacks one of these is immoral, all contraceptive acts lack the last one. For more information (although not every conclusion in this article is good) I'd recommend this short article. The worldview that would condemn contraception is extremely old and so it is hard even for Christians who do condemn it to grasp it, this article helps explain it better than I am able to. Note that the word "natural" is defined in that article and it has nothing to do with what one might think.

Antiquated notions like that are the biggest root cause of abortion.

Who says I want to,. Don't put words in my mouth.
Can you read my vote? NO!
I meant it as a general "you" - as in does your original question propose sterilizing every single person on earth and for what reason? So that there are no more babies born ever, anywhere?

I don't see how that follows, and even if so it is passive scandal in the part of those sinners for which we are not responsible from this act of teaching, but only they are responsible for their evil disposition.

Are you normally predisposed to presumptions?

We have no record of modern vasectomies being performed in the days of Moses. Do you think that you've found a loophole in YHWH's law?

I think you glommed onto something that is 100% irrelevant.

By the way, that verse is talking about sacrifices right? Like, you can't give a castrated bull as a sacrifice?

The problem with your question and your OP is it doesn't look at any middle ground. And after trying to explain myself several times in several ways, I keep getting labeled as pro-abortion. So I have voted that way.

That said, there are other ways to approach this. My sister-in-law was for making abortion illegal until her state had the schools pass out contraception to 16+ students without parental consent and the abortion rate dropped. She is now a supporter of safe sex education.

And that is the thing here, we have studies that show that teenagers will have sex no matter if you give them sex ed, absence ed, or try to scare them into not having sex. They will still have sex at the same rate.

The old ways are not working, and we do know some new ways that do. We should try them more before going to the extreams.

1) Your poll is confusing and comes off as very biased
2) Who are you proposing gets sterilized?
3) What in the world does this have to do with socialism?

So you think oral sex is immoral?
