Not using contraceptions is evil, just look at Africa.

What about Africa? If you think poor people are having too many children I'd outright disagree, I think it is a glorious blessing and a very beautiful thing when I see new life. Not sure what Africa has to do with any of this honestly. More immortal souls for the Lord, more good in the world that will last forever, is it not beautiful?

Yeah, well maybe they should opt for control instead.
So, do you think drug addicts and mentally ill people should be allowed to have multiple kids? Just to ruin their kids lives. I don't .

Abortion is a killer.
We need to be careful what we think and believe. If I picture a Mother stabbing her baby fifty times, it is a horrific image. So I would imagine that others would see it the same. To me the more precise description is not allowing the human life growing in the womb to continue. So that the question can be asked of a woman, why did you not allow life to grow in the womb?
How about taking away their choice and mandate sterilization?
That's doing the same thing of not allowing life to grow in the womb, just in a different way. The issue to me is, why not allow the life to grow? To me the issue becomes the woman and her circumstances and whether a policy of legal force even addresses the issue.
We are heading toward socialism. Seems appropriate for the time.
Respectfully, I think you may be speaking out of an unfounded fear. I consider that socialism is necessary in some degree so that oligarchies do not form. If we are heading towards an oligarchy, if not already in one, then we need balance. Private ownership should exist for good reasons, but it should have boundaries so that people are not subjugated.

The psychic man wouldn't think so, so that makes sense.
I don’t know who the psychic man is but children are only a blessing when wanted and parents are able to care for them. Children who are unwanted, neglected, abused, starving- this is not beautiful.

What about more and more people getting AIDS? That's what they were referring to.

Rather unfortunate, but sin is never the solution. I reject consequentialism in all forms entirely.
Which is eviler, preventing a life from being conceived in the first place, or allowing somebody to be killed through an illness that is easily preventable? Sometimes there is no good answer.

Preventing a life from being conceived in the first place via contraception. Every life (even the life of Satan) is intrinsically good, and human lives are eternal, so I would much rather people exist and die miserably than to not exist. I think that's a perfect answer, not even just good.

No more than cutting the traces on your motherboard would destroy your computer.
What?

A vasectomy is simply a break in the supply chain. It doesn't hurt the testicles. It just puts a road block on the highway the sperm take to the seminal vesicle.

My testicles are perfectly fine.

No the whole aids thing which the catholic church has fought against with their whole, "Contraceptives are evil." it's immoral and disgusting. It's a black and white mentality that doesn't care about nuances.

I'm just the messenger.
I'd say forced sterilization should be part of the decision to have an abortion. You get one abortion per lifetime.

You have no evidence that contraception is a sin. Just rhetoric to control people. Babies are a blessing, but they a neglected one is harmed by not using contraceptives, the catholic stance on contraceptives causes far more sin and harm then using would ever be.

It has many nuances in the theology, books have been written drawing them out and contemplating them. It only seems unnuanced when people think "nuance" means "compromise" or "consequentialist ethical paradigm."

What makes you think I don't have evidence? What do you consider to be evidence? I think I have lots of it. I've controlled the life of no one in my life, hell, I can barely keep my own life under control. Not sure why you think my speech is so effective, if only it were!
