The unsaved are dealt with first in that passage but that's not the timeframe of the resurrection. That passage is the timeframe of the GWTJ when the unsaved are judged and cast into the LOF before the immortal saints enter the NHNE (the barn).

Not so . The timeframe is all about the Son of man coming with his Angels to harvest his own to himself.
This just so happens to be the same time as the GWT for obvious reasons given by our Lord again in Matt 25:31--
Again, let us listen to the Lords own plain teaching on the matter.

That passage is long after the second coming. It's the GWTJ and when the righteous enter the NHNE.

That passage is clearly about burning the ungodly, before the righteous are gathered at the HARVEST.
The Harvest is a second coming event.

Back tomorrow.

There is no harvest of the saved in the explanation of the parable and that is simply because they don't need to be moved anywhere since the NHNE happens to the heavens and Earth with the saints there on the Earth. Essentially the world becomes that barn mentioned in the parable. The saved saints are gathered at the resurrection and rapture BEFORE anyone goes to the LOF.

Mat 13:36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
Mat 13:37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
Mat 13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
Mat 13:39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
Mat 13:40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
Mat 13:41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
Mat 13:42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Mat 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

The righteous aren't gathered because they already had been. The only ones the angels gather are the unrighteous.

Rev 20 starts at the one-and-only first resurrection of Christ and finishes at the one final future coming of Christ. Repeated Scripture shows a general resurrection and a general judgment- thus exposing Premil.
You do not have any proof the resurrection in Revelation 20:4 happened in 30AD. That would be proven by showing historically many dead people raised all having their heads cut off in the 42 months prior or Jesus' earthly ministry from baptism to the Cross. Show us at least the verse where John the Baptist was raised from the dead and is still alive today.

Your presupposition demands that many people were beheaded and all given a new incorruptible body that can never die for an indefinite period of time, like 1991 years. Yet you refuse to prove your own position. Calling something what it is not is one thing. Failing to prove it, is as bad as claiming other posters can not prove what they post. When are you going to prove your own position?

So if Lazarus ( and the others ) went to heaven without having died a second time, then that would require them to have been resurrected in spiritual bodies, as described in 1 Corinthians 15, because only spiritual bodies can enter into heaven. Is that what you're saying happened?
Paul says a new permanent body awaits the soul. It is more physical and in the image of God than the dead corruptible body from Adam genetically. What do you mean by spirit, ethereal? A vapor? God is light. Jesus was changed into a brilliant light that was physical on the mount of Transfiguration. Moses physical face was so bright, it had to be covered after seeing God on Mount Sinai. That was physical. Satan did not get the body of Moses, not even his soul was in Abraham's bosom. Moses was also physically on the mount of Transfiguration. Sin blinds us from the half of physical creation, you call spiritual. What we see is literally death walking around as physical. There is no life except that quickened by the Holy Spirit. Yet this is as physical as can be at the moment.

So you call their body spiritual, but Paul says it is permanent and incorruptible and is more physical than this current temporal corruptible body.

2 Corinthians 5:1-8

1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight. )
8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Lazarus and the OT church, that once resided in Abraham's bosom has been present with the Lord since the Sunday Christ rose and ascended to His Father, just after speaking to Mary in the Garden, and before Jesus met the two on the road later that same day.

They appeared physically per Matthew 27. They ascended physically. That should be what the future being "caught up" at the Second Coming will be. It will be a physical ascension, where the living church will be changed in mid air, and then stay in Paradise. Paul says forever with the Lord. The Lord is not the Son. Jesus made that distinction in the parable of the vineyard. Will those on earth see Paradise in the heavens along with God on the throne? Revelation 6 does not mention it. It is very possible though. Those on earth will know they are not among those just taken to Paradise. They know they are going to receive the wrath of God.

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Paul uses the term Lord Jesus Christ. Paul also places both Lord and Jesus Christ at the Second Coming in Titus 2:12-14

12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

All those speak of two separate resurrections with the righteous always resurrecting first. Revelation 20 is the only passage that tells us how much time is inbetween the two resurrections. "the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished" proves one part of those who are dead have to wait before resurrecting. There's no way to get around that.
And neither of those Revelation 20 resurrections are about the church. There is no glorification in the Revelation 20:4 resurrection. And the coming to life at the GWT is not a named resurrection. The dead are still dead standing before God. If they are given a resurrected body, we are not told. The soul and spirit are joined in the Lake of Fire. But not a glorious spirit. It is a demon, dark spirit, forever reprobate.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

The only description is dead!

Perhaps you missed it, so I'll post them again but this time I'll clearly highlight in red the parts that prove they are each talking of a single resurrection.

Acts 24:15
and I have the same hope in God as these men themselves have, that there will (soon) be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked.

"A resurrection of both..." (not two resurrections)

John 5:28-29
“Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.”

"the hour in which..." (not two hours)

Daniel 12:2
But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered. Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.

"at that time, multitudes will awake..." (not two times)

Hope that helps.
25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

The hour started at the Cross. In fact Jesus raised Lazarus prior to the Cross. It has been one long hour for sure. It will last almost 3000 years.

25 Yes, indeed! I tell you that there is coming a time — in fact, it’s already here — when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who listen will come to life.

25 `Verily, verily, I say to you -- There cometh an hour, and it now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and those having heard shall live;

25 Verily, verily I say unto you, the hour shall come, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear it shall live.

Check this out as to which comes first. Its there for all to see. Let the Lord speak.

Weeds among Wheat
24 Jesus presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25 But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and left. 26 And when the wheat sprouted and produced grain, then the weeds also became evident. 27 And the slaves of the landowner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have weeds?’ 28 And he said to them, ‘An enemy has done this!’ The slaves *said to him, ‘Do you want us, then, to go and gather them up?’ 29 But he *said, ‘No; while you are gathering up the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them.

30 Allow both to grow together until the harvest; and at the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather up the weeds and bind them in bundles to burn them; but gather the wheat into my barn.”’”
..........,

40 So just as the weeds are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age. 41 The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, 42 and they will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine forth like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. The one who has ears, let him hear.

Allow the Lord to teach you.
This is about living people and removing their souls from their living bodies. This is not talking about souls in sheol or Paradise.

Mat 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

The righteous aren't gathered because they already had been. The only ones the angels gather are the unrighteous.

I will let Scripture speak...

Matt 3
His winnowing fork is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clear His threshing floor; and He will gather His wheat into the barn, but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

Matt 13:30
  1. Allow both to grow together until the harvest; and at the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather up the weeds and bind them in bundles to burn them; but gather the wheat into my barn.”’”

  2. Matthew 13:40
So just as the weeds are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age
Matt 13
“Explain to us the parable of the weeds of the field.” 37 And He said, “The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man, 38 and the field is the world; and as for the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the weeds are the sons of the evil one; 39 and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the end of the age; and the reapers are angels.

Matt 13
47 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered fish of every kind; 48 and when it was filled, they pulled it up on the beach; and they sat down and gathered the good fish into containers, but the bad they threw away. 49 So it will be at the end of the age: the angels will come forth and remove the wicked from among the righteous, 50 and they will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

51 “Have you understood all these things?” They *said to Him, “Yes.”

  1. Matt 24 And as He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
  2. Matthew 28:20 teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Hope this helps you understand these things

So in Revelation 20:5 the rest of the dead <3498> lived <326> (the same word translated as revived in Romans 14:9) not again till the thousand years were finished. Satan is also loosed after the thousand years are finished. So it could be that both Satan and the dead have come back simultaneously.

As you stated only the dead are seen at the GWTJ.

In Revelation 14:13 it says blessed are the dead <3498> which die <599> in the Lord from henceforth.

We know from Hebrews 9:27 it is appointed once to die <599> then the judgment.

When all these verses are looked at, it seems that somewhere the dead have to be considered spiritually dead and not physically dead. What are your thoughts on this?

Presupposition of amil thought does not count either. That is man made doctrine as much as you claim post or pre is all just man made presupposition. Revelation 20 has been in the Bible since the 2nd century at least. You cannot deny the usage of 1000 years. You can explain it away, but you cannot start out that those verses do not exist.

Please don't suggest I am willingly lying. What I have said is true, and it's there in Revelation 20 for anyone to see.

I did not say you were. You outlined your Premil opinion, and finished with: "There's no way to get around that."

I replied: "That is not true, and you know it."

The Amil position is not only correct but absolutely negates Premil reasoning. So there is a very clear way around your position.

The unsaved are dealt with first in that passage but that's not the timeframe of the resurrection. That passage is the timeframe of the GWTJ when the unsaved are judged and cast into the LOF before the immortal saints enter the NHNE (the barn).

Where in Scripture does it even mention "resurrection days" (plural), pertaining to the end? Nowhere! What Scripture (including Revelation 20) teaches there are two distinct future judgement days (that will see all mankind stand before Christ to give account for their lives) separated by a literal 1000 years+? Where in Scripture does it mention "judgement days" (plural), in regard to the end? What Scripture corroborates the Premillennial interpretation of Revelation 20 that Satan will be bound for a time-span of 1000 years after the Second Advent, then released for a "little season" to deceive the nations, and then destroy them? There is no other Scripture that teaches this doctrine. Premils force that upon the sacred text. They have absolutely nothing to reinforce their core beliefs. They interpret their opinion of Revelation 20 by their opinion of Revelation 20. This is dangerous. This is one of many reasons why this non-corroborative doctrine should be rejected.

Revelation 20 shows us what every other passage in Scripture teaches us - that the second coming sees the general resurrection of all the dead and the general judgment. Look at what is highlighted in green.

The third parallel in Revelation 11:15 makes reference to the seventh angel with the last trump, again being in complete agreement with consistent New Testament teaching (including the conclusion of the second parallel in Revelation 10) on this single, final, all-consummating nature of the Second Advent, saying, “And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

The next verse, verse 18 then reveals how the Second Advent ushers in the general judgment, saying, “And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest (1) give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest (2) destroy them which destroy the earth. And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.”

One cannot help but note the finality attached to the sounding of the seventh trumpet. This is particularly striking when you then compare this to the trumpet passages that connect to the second coming of the Lord. The link is unquestionable.

Whichever way you look at it, there is an unquestionable finality surrounding the echo of the seventh trumpet. This corresponds with the conclusiveness associated with Second Coming passages elsewhere in Scripture. Let us look at some of the all-consummating detail.

1 Corinthians 15:20-28 says: “now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For (or gar or seeing) since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For (or gar or seeing) as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. Then cometh the end, when ‘he shall have delivered up’ (present active subjunctive) the kingdom to God, even the Father; when ‘he shall have put down’ (aorist active subjunctive) all rule and all authority and power. For (or gar or seeing) he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. For (or gar or seeing) ‘he hath put’ (aorist active indicative) all things under his feet. But when he saith, all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. And when all things shall be subdued unto him (speaking of the second coming), then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all (1 Corinthians 15:25-28).

Death is destroyed at the second coming, the time here denoted as “the end.” As Jesus comes and rescues ‘the just’ in the twinkling of an eye He also destroys ‘the unjust’. This passage is distinctly a description of the end. Those “in Adam all die.” The second coming is shown to be termination of all rebellion. It is the time “when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power." But equally, “in Christ shall all be made alive.” This is the time “when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father.” It is clear that everything is tied up at the end (“His Coming”).

The usage of the word “for” in this reading simply tells us that what follows is a deduction drawn from what has previously been stated. The 4 uses of the word “for” (or gar or seeing) in this reading demonstrates (in all cases) what is being spoken of is an inference to what has just been stated. In this particular passage, the Greek word gar links and then further expands upon the fact that the Second Advent is the time “when he (Christ) shall have (finally) put down all rule and all authority and power.” The Greek word ‘gar’, which interprets and carries the same meaning as our English word “for” is used as a key constituent part of the previous statement or subject matter, to simply allocate a fuller enlargement or reinforcement of the matter just mentioned. The word is mainly used for the purpose of argument, explanation or intensification.

In the case of this passage, the four references to gar connect and further develop the solemn truth of the fall of man and the blessed truth and present reality of Christ’s current heavenly reign over every enemy. Moreover, after clearly telling us that the parousia is “the end” and that it unquestionably corresponds with the all-consummating delivering up of “the kingdom to God,” and with the point “when he shall have (finally) put down all rule and all authority and power” the Holy Spirit simply explains that “he (Christ) must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.” Of course, Scripture makes it abundantly clear that Christ’s rule over His enemies is a present reality that will be finally concluded at the appearance of Christ.

As you well know: there is no 1,000 yrs mentioned (or recognized) in this passage. You have to force it into the sacred text. It rather demonstrates (like the rest of Scripture) that the end is the end and that it comes at the return of Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:50-55 declares, flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption (phthora or decay) inherit incorruption (aphthrsia or unending existence). Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?”

This passage closely mirrors Romans 8, confirming that the last enemy is demolished at “the last trump.” Corruption finds it end when Christ comes in all His glory. This corroborates what Paul was teaching about “the bondage of corruption” being terminated when the elect are redeemed at Christ’s appearing. No one can deny the correlation between the glorification of the elect and the glorification of the earth. God’s people cannot populate an incorrupt earth. They need their bodies suitably attired in perfection to be able to enjoy that eternal state.

In Luke 20:34-36 Jesus basically compares the temporal imperfect state of this present age/world to the glory of the age/world to come. Jesus says: “The children of this world (or aion or age) marry, and are given in marriage: But they which shall be accounted worthy (or kataxioō) to obtain that world (or aion or age), and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.”

This couldn’t be any clearer.

Those that are worthy to obtain the age to come are not mortals and not sinners; they are the glorified saints – who are said to never die. The Lord makes it clear “they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that age, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels.”

It is “the children of God” alone that are glorified and therefore past from life unto death. It is “they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world (or aion or age).” This privileged group no longer engage in temporal earthly relationships “Neither can they die any more.” First, we see it is only the elect that are worthy of inheriting the age to come, secondly, according to Jesus, death is not possible in the next age (i.e., “that age”). This favoured group cannot die because they possess eternal glorified bodies. This totally negates the Premil paradigm.

We cannot overlook the clear teaching that one must be “accounted worthy to obtain” the “world (or age)” to come. This is a very definite precondition for entering the new earth. That worthiness is obviously found in Christ. All that are saved when the Master returns will immediately be glorified, thus perfectly qualifying them to inhabit the newly regenerated earth. We see this mentioned in this reading. It is only those deemed fully justified that make it. There is only a certain type of person therefore that Christ counts worthy to “obtain” or tugchano meaning ‘to attain or secure an object or end’. It is a personal relation with Christ. There is no other ticket into the eternal state.

The children of the wicked one are not worthy to populate the new regenerated earth. As we have highlighted, the phrase “to obtain that world” is taken from the single Greek word kataxioo which means ‘to deem entirely deserving’. It plainly requires special merit to inherit the age to come.

Whilst the “children of this age marry, and are given in marriage” (according to Christ in Luke 20:34-36), Jesus presents the future age as a glorified place that is earned by those alone who are “accounted worthy to obtain that age.” These people are shown to be the glorified saints alone. This could never refer to the unsaved, mortals of any kind, or the nations that come against Jerusalem as some suggest. These would all obviously eventually die. Such people are expressly barred from the age to come. This is speaking about immortal glorified believers only.

Premil has countless heathens populating the new earth in their corrupt mortal bodies. They have all the vice of our day prospering in their millennial age. They have all the sin and debauchery and rebellion of our day continuing in that day. Contrary to what Jesus says, Premil has millennial mortals continuing to “marry, and are given in marriage” – just like “the children of this age.” They render millions of unregenerate unsaved worthy to inherit the new earth. They are “accounted worthy to obtain that age.” However, the words of Christ negate such a belief.

Revelation 20:11-15 – 21:1-5: “And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away (or departed). And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.”

The renewal of the earth is carefully tied to the renewal of fallen man; manifestly, as at the beginning so at the end. It is at this finishing stage that all the former consequences of the curse will be eternally removed from the elect through the glorification process. Moreover, this current earth will be simultaneously renewed by way of fiery regeneration.

This is talking about the first corrupt earth being removed and replaced with a new perfect earth. The former corruption has been removed. Perfection has finally arrived. The New Jerusalem envelops the perfected earth. The former things have passed away. You paint it as more of the same. This reading describes the occasion that witnesses the termination of sin / sickness / suffering / death / all decay.

Revelation 22:3 tells us that when the new heavens and new earth arrive: “there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him.”

The renewal of the earth is carefully tied to the renewal of fallen man; manifestly, as at the beginning so at the end. It is at this finishing stage that all the former consequences of the curse will be eternally removed from the elect through the glorification process. Moreover, this current earth will be simultaneously renewed by way of a fiery renewal.

Revelation 20:11-15, 21:1-5 and Revelation 22:3 describe the perfect conditions that are introduced when Jesus Christ returns. No one with any sanity could say that such a state exists today. It doesn’t! This only accompanies the glorification of this sin-cursed world, because justice has finally been executed upon sin. It is then and only then that there will be:

· No more dying.
· No more crying.
· No more pain.
· No more sorrow.
· No more curse.

While the elect of God finally enters into eternal bless, the wicked correspondingly experience eternal torment. They are shown to be banished into everlasting punishment.

Conclusion

The disturbing mantra you make is: "what saith your private interpretation Rev 20 - even if it contradicts numerous other Scripture." Like Paul the Apostle, the Amil belief is based upon: "what saith Scripture." It is here where Premil hits the rocks. This is why we disagree!

How does it "so happen"?

Read Matt 25 : 31-

The Judgment
31 “But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne. 32 And all the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, just as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; 33 and He will put the sheep on His right, but the goats on the left.

34 “Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. .......

41 “Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, you accursed people, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels; .....

There is no throwing into the fire before the book of life is opened.

Rev 20
And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. 13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them; and they were judged, each one of them according to their deeds. 14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.
15 And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

The throne Jesus sits on in Matt 25 is therefore the GWT

Revelation 20 shows us what every other passage in Scripture teaches us - that the second coming see the general resurrection of all the dead and the general judgment.

It took me awhile to digest your post, I’m not against the view that the GWTJ includes everyone both saved and unsaved.

The dead are brought back to life after the 1,000 years and Satan is loosed for a little season after the 1,000 years. To me this implies that Satan is loosed prior to the last day. Many of the interpretations have the dead coming to life after Satan’s little season, which is a possibility but then there should be no dead at the GWTJ unless they are alive but spiritually dead.

If the dead are brought back to life at the same time Satan is loosed from the bottomless pit, then it could be possible that they die when fire comes down from heaven and devours them. However this creates a problem with Hebrews 9:27 which says it is appointed once to die then the judgment.

So how do you see the dead in Revelation 20:5 coming back to life? Doesn’t something have to be taken in a spiritual or figurative manner?

One thing we must mention is the fact the word “again” found in the King James Version does not appear in the original but was added by the translators in their wisdom. Moreover, the Greek word achris interpreted “until” in this passage also carries the meaning of “while” thus putting a possible different slant on the overall reading. In fact, there is a massive difference between “the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished” and “the rest of the dead lived not while the thousand years were completed.”

The "rest of the dead" are the wicked – those who reject the Gospel call. They remain separated from God until judgement day. The wicked are barred from the presence of God upon death, although they experience it at the judgment. They are only brought to life to the degree that they are resurrected at Christ's Coming to encounter Christ, and even then it is for the solemn purpose of hearing those awful words “away from me I never knew you” at the judgment and receive their final punishment.

And neither of those Revelation 20 resurrections are about the church. There is no glorification in the Revelation 20:4 resurrection. And the coming to life at the GWT is not a named resurrection. The dead are still dead standing before God. If they are given a resurrected body, we are not told.

We are told they will have a resurrection:

Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

This says they will live again after the thousand years is finished so that does in fact happen.

The Greek word used:

ἀναζάω
anazaō
an-ad-zah'-o
From G303 and G2198; to recover life (literally or figuratively): - (be a-) live again, revive.
Total KJV occurrences: 5

Same exact word that is used here:

Luk 15:32 It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

Exactly! They are brought to life again at the second coming to receive their awful sentence.
