I don't normally ask for prayers, I try to handle things on my own, but I can't do that anymore. I have one young son (almost 6 years old) and I'm 28 weeks along with my second child. Things have been steadily going downhill with my partner and I just can't handle things anymore. I can't take the abuse from him anymore, I need to get myself and my babies out. Last night was HORRIFIC. He kicked off at nothing, punching holes in the wall, throwing things, destroying anything that belongs to me. Dresser, futon, TV, washer and dryer (flooded the laundry room completely), everything. I'm a stay at home mother, so he has completely taken control of finances. He's withheld and IS withholding food and necessities from us. Refuses to allow me to drive to go out and get anything we need, not that he'd let me have to money to get things anyway. If I ask, it becomes a fight and I worry for my safety and my kids safety. Last night was one of the worst nights in a while and I NEED to get away. I need to leave, I need to feed my son, I need to escape this. My only moments of peace come when he's at work all day, but that doesn't last forever. Shelters are full because of Covid, I have NO family or friends nearby that can help, I'm STUCK. If I was able to hop in the van and go, I would, but I'd never make it with nothing. No gas, no food, nothing to care for my son and unborn baby. PLEASE pray for me if you can, so that I can get myself and my babies out of here safely. Even if you're not one to pray, I'd appreciate even a kind thought or message sent my way for a little support through this. Anything, really. I just feel hopeless. I also don't know how often I'll be able to check in here, between taking care of my son and trying to protect us both from my partner, so if anyone has any advice or can even just be a friend in this tough time, I'll leave my email here. (I used to use it for work, so he'll have no way to know I'm talking to anyone else and trying to get out of here.) It's lexib1733@gmail.com.

I'm a long way away in Australia but I can always pray for you and will do so.

I hope someone here can give you some practical advice as I don't know the resources in the US.

You certainly need to get away as soon as possible with your babes, especially as also one is yet to be born.
Do you have any family whatsoever who could put you up.
I hope you never feel in anyway responsible for your husbands behavior.
Your first priority is the safety of your children and yourself.
Can you get a friend to be with you and contact the police?
Don't feel ashamed to let someone know what is happening.

You need support now.

I pray the Lords protection over you and your precious babes, and that God will provide a way for you to get safely away from this man.

God bless you and your children dear one, you will be in my prayers, I promise.:prayer::heart:

 Praying for you, your li'l one, and the precious li'l one you are carrying, dear heart. Read Isaiah 54. Pray to our God, Who IS a very present HELP in our times of trouble. Also call the National Domestic Violence Hotline - 1-800-799-7233.

It was on this very date in November, that i and my two little girls entered a shelter to escape horrific abuse. i was also pregnant at the time.

Praying, dear heart, that our God moooooves on your behalf as only He can. Father may it be so, in Jesus' name, amen (((hug)))

I apologise for not noting that you said you have no family or friends nearby.
Shelters may be full, can any of them give you advice on someone who can help, a social worker, church pastor, the police should have someone who specifically deals with domestic abuse- with holding food is horrendous.
It may mean you will have to leave when he is away at work.
Stay strong and be of good courage.
God bless, keep and protect you and your little ones.

 Praying that God mooooves as only He can for doors to open for our precious sister and her li'l ones in what seems an impossible situation. He IS the God of the "possible", the very same God Who parted the Red Sea, and Who makes a way when there seems to be no way. Can someone post the video of Don Moen singing "God Will Make A Way"? I would post it to encourage our sister, but i cannot post it from this device.

Thank you and God bless y'all (((hug)))

You really should be seeing a church and pastor about this. This is a Christian Forum and honestly that is the best advice that you could receive here.
Our sister requested prayers and encouragement for this most desperate situation, for her li'l one, the li'l one she is pregnant with, and herself. She is directed right in God's Word to do this very thing. I'm praying thaf she is not discouraged in all of this, and that God's inexplicable grace supersedes all things and that our God is the Lifter of her head, as He opens doors for her and her li'l ones, as only He can do. Father may it be so, in Jesus' name, amen.

Yes, but if she visits a pastor she will receive professional spiritual advice. Also the church is the body and bride of Christ and should not be avoided. She needs Christians for support in real life and not just on an Internet forum. I am confident that I have directed her in the right direction. As Christians we are to make disciples of all nations and we should not be shy to point someone towards God’s church.

This is a Prayer Forum. We respond to requests for prayrers and encouragement here. I will continue praying for this dear one and her li'l ones in this most dangerous situation for each of them. May God mooooove as only He can, in this most mountainously troubling circumstance. Father, may it be so, in Jesus' name, amen.

I wanted to thank everyone for your prayers and advice, I'm definitely listening to it all and trying to seek help as I can. I have to do everything very carefully, I don't want to imagine what would happen if he realizes what I'm doing.

I am praying for you that God leads you to the right source of help wherever He should choose. May it be a safe place that will offer protection for you and your children and resources to guide you and your family to start a new life without the fear of abuse, In Jesus Name, Amen

For an update: Tonight seems like a repeat of last night. I've got my son in my room with me, keeping the door locked. I don't have any other options right now. I wish we could just leave.

We're still praying for you and your little ones, that the Lord will put a hedge of protection around you and that, as Brinny said that He moves things as only He can towards a way out for you to safety.

You really should be seeing a church and pastor about this. This is a Christian Forum and honestly that is the best advice that you could receive here.

Whilst seeing a pastor (and receiving help from them) is the ideal and of course the spiritual side is the most important, there is also the practical help needed also, hence the direction to a Domestic abuse helpline.

James instructs us that if someone is destitute naked and hungry it is not enough to say" depart go in peace, be warmed and filled" and you don't give them the practical help to do so, how does that help? (my paraphrase). the situation is the same here, we have firstly taken it to God in prayer which is the most important, and some practical help has been offered.
I hope you understand that is the case here and that we are offering love and support the best we can to our dear sister and her babes.
