You’re still wrong

The ten commands and the law were an external set of rules, kept out of fear of punishment, and it was deliberately harsh and meant to be bondage, to contrast between the new covenant of grace, and the old covenant of trying to work to earn righteousness.

The new covenant is spiritual, it’s Gods law written on our heart, the law of love, that supersedes the old covenant completely.

The law of Moses is not meant for a righteous person, but for the ungodly, for sinners, for murderers, etc.: because it exists to show the unsaved what sin IS.

1Ti 1:9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a RIGHTEOUS man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for THE UNGODLY and for SINNERS , for UNHOLY and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,

1Ti 1:10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

Christians are not ungodly anymore, but are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, thus we’ve died to the law.

Rom 7:4 Likewise, my brothers, you also have DIED TO THE LAW through the body of Christ, so that you may belong to another, to him who has been raised from the dead, in order that we may bear fruit for God.

Rom 7:5 For while we were living in the flesh, our sinful passions, AROUSED BY THE LAW, were at work in our members to bear fruit for DEATH.

Rom 7:6 But now we are RELEASED from the law, having died to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the NEW way of the SPIRIT and not in the OLD way of the written code.

For Christians only, (not the ungodly) Jesus nailed the law of Moses to His cross and took it out of our way:

Eph 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

And the law of Moses was temporary until Christ came:

Gal 3:19 Why then the law? It was added because of transgressions, until the offspring should come to whom the promise had been made (Jesus Christ), and it was put in place through angels by an intermediary.

Gal 3:23 But BEFORE faith came, we were KEPT UNDER THE LAW, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

Gal 3:24 Wherefore THE LAW was our SCHOOLMASTER to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

Gal 3:25 But AFTER that faith is come, we are NO LONGER under a schoolmaster.

Christians have the fruit of the spirit, instead of the letter of the law, which is why for us THERE IS NO LAW, of Moses for us:

Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such THERE IS NO LAW.

The law of Moses is in effect for the unrighteous, the ungodly, the unholy - but not in effect for Christians who have Gods law, the law of love stated by the two love commands, in their hearts.

Still wrong about what exactly? No dear friend as shown through the scriptures earlier in post # 45 linked it is you who is wrong. According to the scriptures Love is not separated from God's law it works through it. Scriptures have already been provided in post # 45 linked sent in love only as a help to you but it seems you do not believe them, yet these are Gods Words not mine and they do indeed show why your claims to God's 10 commandments being abolished are in error.

Now which one of the scriptures that you have posted above say that love is separated from God's Law? Which one of the scriptures that you have provided above teach that any one of God's 10 commandments are abolished? Yep if your honest you will see not one. Yet this is the interpretation your trying to read into the scriptures that is not there or biblical. A teaching of men designed to lead away from the Word of God we are warned about in 1 John 2:3-4 and in the very words of JESUS in Matthew 5:17-28. Whosoever is born of God dear friend does not practice sin according to the scriptures. This is the difference between the children of God and the children of the devil *1 John 3:6-10.

No one loves God by breaking his commandments in fact the scriptures teach the opposite *John 14:15; 1 John 2:3-4; 1 John 3:4-9; Hebrews 10:26-31. Love is simply God's new covenant promise to those who believe and follow God's Word not to those who do not believe and do not follow *Hebrews 8:10-12; John 10:26-27.

If God's law is for the unrighteous then who is it not for? Are we righteous without JESUS? It is JESUS that answers this question when he says "They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. It seems many do not know the meaning and purpose of Gods' law when JESUS says but go and learn what that means, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.*Matthew 9:12-13. Who dear friend stands righteous before God without God's mercy and forgiveness for sin *Romans 3:10 and who has not sinned *Romans 3:23?

Yet it is God's Word not mine that defines what sin is. Sin according to the scriptures is breaking anyone of God's 10 commandments *James 2:10-11 and not believing and following Gods' Word *Romans 14:23. According to the scriptures it is God's 10 commandments that give us the knowledge of GOOD and EVIL; SIN and RIGHTEOUSNESS in the new covenant scriptures *Romans 3:20; Romans 7:7; 1 John 3:4; Psalms 119:172.

Yes dear friend God's 4th commandment is one of God's 10 commandments that give us the knowledge of what sin is when broken and just like any one of God's 10 commandments if we knowingly break any one of them we stand guilty before God of sin *James 2:10-11. According to the scriptures no one is "UNDER THE LAW" unless we stand before God guilty of knowingly breaking the law *Romans 3:19. It is this very law you deny that leads us to Christ that we might be forgiven through faith *Galatians 3:22-25 and born again to be made free to walk in his Spirit to love *John 3:3-7; Romans 8:1-4; Hebrews 8:10-12; 1 John 3:3-9; Galatians 5:16.

Lets be careful dear friend not to read into the scripture what the scriptures do not say and teach. This is only written in love and correction as a help and blessing to you.

May you receive Gods Word and be blessed. Ignoring it does not make it disappear.

It’s crystal clear. If you love your neighbor as yourself you fulfill all Gods law.

That’s not breaking Gods laws, that’s fulfilling them.

Rom 13:9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there beany other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Rom 13:10 LOVE worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love isTHE FULFILLING OF the law.

The same apostle who said love fulfills all the law, thus the two love commands are the ones we keep in the new covenant.

No doubt. The New Covenant found in Jer 31:31-34 says that God "writes his Laws on heart and mind" and that includes the moral law of God known to Jeremiah and his readers (exegesis).

So then that would include that unique unit of law where as Paul said in Eph 6:1-2 "the first commandment with a promise" is the 5th commandment.

As I said -- it just does not get any easier than that.

When Jesus said "keep the Commandments" in Matt 19 -- He is immediately asked "which ones?" -- and what does He then quote from ? yep it was from the TEN. And in that case He gives the commandment foundational to the last 6 "Love your neighbor" Lev 19:18 and then refers to the 6 pertaining to that one foundation.

The other foundation commandment would have been Deut 6:5 "Love God with all your heart" on which the first four commandments are based. (As Christ reminds us in Matt 22)

The Old Covenant ten has been replaced by the two love commands,

A good example of a statement not found at all in scripture.

In fact by contrast to that - we see in Matt 22 that the Deut 6:5 and Lev 19:18 "love Commands" are the "firm foundation" of all the Ten - not "replacing" but "firmly establishing".

No wonder Paul says "do we then make void the law of God by our faith? God forbid! In fact we ESTABLISH the Law" Rom 3:31

That Law where as Paul said in Romans 7 "is holy just and good" and includes the commandment "thou shalt not covet".

John 5:2-4 "this IS the LOVE of God that we KEEP His Commandments"

Where the "first commandment with a promise" is the 5th commandment - according to Paul -- in that still valid "unit of ten".

That's Paul directly appealing to the TEN - in Eph 6.

Ok. So who said if you love God you do not fulfill God's law? What do you think my posts are saying? It seems like you are not reading them. Do we love God by breaking His commandments?

I am thinking John 5:2-4 "this IS the LOVE of God that we KEEP His Commandments" - is a good answer to that :)

Hi all,

The following scripture are three messages of warning given to the world that are connected to receiving the "MARK OF THE BEAST". I would like to propose a detailed scripture discussion for those interested in the topic.

REVELATION 14:6-12 [6], And I saw another angel fly in the middle of heaven, having the EVERLASTING GOSPEL TO PREACH TO THEM THAT DWELL ON THE EARTH, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, [7], Saying with a loud voice, FEAR GOD, AND GIVE GLORY TO HIM; FOR THE HOUR OF HIS JUDGMENT IS COME: and WORSHIP HIM THAT MADE HEAVEN, AND EARTH, AND THE SEA, AND THE FOUNTAINS OF WATERS.

Q1. What is the everlasting gospel and what judgement is come?
Q2. How do we give glory to God?
Q3. What does it mean to worship him that made the heavens and the earth?

[8], And there followed another angel, saying, BABYLON IS FALLEN, IS FALLEN, THAT GREAT CITY, BECAUSE SHE MADE ALL NATIONS DRINK OF THE WINE OF THE WRATH OF HER FORNICATION.

Q4. Who does BABYLON represent?
Q5. What is the wine of BABYLON that all the nations of drunk or her fornication?

[9], And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, IF ANY MAN WORSHIP THE BEAST AND HIS IMAGE, AND RECEIVE HIS MARK IN HIS FOREHEAD, OR IN HIS HAND, [10], THE SAME SHALL DRINK OF THE WINE OF THE WRATH OF GOD, WHICH IS POURED OUT WITHOUT MIXTURE INTO THE CUP OF HIS INDIGNATION; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
[11], And the smoke of their torment ascends up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.

Q6. Who is the beast we are warned not to worship?
Q7. What is the mark we are warned not to receive in our hand and forehead?
Q8. What is the wine of the wrath of God?

[12], HERE IS THE PATIENCE OF THE SAINTS: HERE ARE THEY THAT KEEP THE
COMMANDMENTS OF GOD, AND THE FAITH OF JESUS.

Q9. There is only two classes of people; Those who are God's people (the saints) and those who are not how do we know we are God's saints?

Please provide scripture to support your view.

God bless

Was the whole point of this topic to try to scare people?

Are you asking -- if that is why God authored Rev 14 as a final warning to mankind before the 2nd coming events?

Rev 14 - outline

Rev 14:1-5 - a reminder of the saints, seal of God and fellowship with God
Rev 14:6-12 - the last three warning messages given to mankind
Rev 14:14-20 - end of world, second coming, destruction of the wicked.

Q1. WHAT IS THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL? v6

REVELATION 14:6, And I saw another angel fly in midheaven, having the EVERLASTING GOSPEL [εὐαγγέλιον meaning good news] to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and tribe, and tongue, and people,

NOTE: The GREEK Word used here G2098 εὐαγγέλιον means simply good news; So the first angels message is preaching the everlasting GOOD NEWS to all people of the earth.

WHAT DOES THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL REPRESENT?

1 PETER 1:25, But THE WORD OF THE LORD ENDURES FOREVER [EVERLASTING WORD OF GOD]. And this is the word which by the GOSPEL [GOOD NEWS] is preached unto you.

LUKE 21:33, Heaven and earth shall pass away: BUT MY WORDS SHALL NOT PASS AWAY [EVERLASTING WORD OF GOD].

ISAIAH 40:8, The grass withers, the flower fades, But THE WORD OF OUR GOD STANDS FOREVER [GOD’S WORD IS EVERLASTING].

JOHN 17:17, SANCTIFY THEM THROUGH THE TRUTH, YOUR WORD IS TRUTH [GOD’S WORD IS TRUTH AND WE ARE SAVED BY IT – Good news indeed].

MATTHEW 4:4 Man does not live by bread alone but by EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD [LIFE FROM THE WORD OF GOD]

JOHN 1:1-4; 14
[1], In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD.

[2], The same was in the beginning with God.

[3], All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

[4], In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

[14], And THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

NOTE: JESUS is the living WORD OF GOD.

[12], But as many as received him [THE WORD OF GOD], to them gave he power to become the children of God, EVEN TO THEM THAT BELIEVE ON HIS NAME [MATTHEW 1:21, And she shall bring forth a son, and you shall call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.]

NOTE: v12 and MATTHEW 1:21. JOHN 1:12 As many as received him [THE WORD OF GOD] to them he gave POWER to become the children of GOD. His name is JESUS [THE WORD OF GOD] because he [THE WORD OF GOD] will save all who receive him [BELIEVE AND FOLLOW THE WORD OF GOD]

1 PETER 1:22-23,

[22], Seeing you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto sincere love of the brethren, see that you love one another with a pure heart fervently:

[23], BEING BORN AGAIN, NOT OF CORRUPTIBLE SEED BUT OF INCORUPTIBLE, BY THE WORD OF GOD, which lives and ABIDES FOREVER [EVERLASTING].

LUKE 8:11, NOW THIS IS THE PARABLE; THE SEED IS THE WORD OF GOD.

1 JOHN 3:9, Whoever is born of God does not commit sin; FOR HIS SEED REMAINS IN HIM: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

1 JOHN 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, EVEN OUR FAITH [in the WORD OF GOD; the SEED must remain in us through FAITH].

PSALMS 119:11, YOUR WORD HAVE A HID IN MY HEART, THAT I MIGHT NOT SIN AGAINST YOU [in the WORD OF GOD; the SEED must remain in us through FAITH].

And this is the victory that overcomes the world, EVEN OUR FAITH in God’s WORD that is IN US.

JOHN 15:4-5,
[4] ABIDE IN ME AND I IN YOU [THE WORD OF GOD]. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can you, except you abide in me. [5] I am the vine, you are the branches: He that stays in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for WITHOUT ME [THE WORD OF GOD] YOU CAN DO NOTHING. [6], If a man abides not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. [7], IF YOU ABIDE IN ME [THE LIVING WORD OF GOD] AND MY WORDS ABIDE IN YOU abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done to you. [8], Herein is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; so shall you be my disciples. [9], As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you: continue you in my love. [10], IF YOU KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS, you shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.

NOTE: We cannot bear the fruit of obedience unless God’s WORD abides in us as we BELIEVE and follow him who calls us in love to love.

..............

CONCLUSION: WHAT IS THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL OF REVELATION 14:6?

The EVERLASTING Gospel is JESUS <Jesus means Savior; John 1:29> and JESUS is THE WORD OF GOD (John 1:1-14; 17:17; 14:6). THE WORD OF GOD is the GOSPEL BECAUSE BY FAITH IT IS OUR SAVIOR and this the IS GOOD NEWS to those who BELIEVE. (John 1:1-14; John 1:29; John 17:17; 14:6; Matthew 4:4) ALL OF GOD’S WORD IS THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL. It is the EVERLASTING GOSPEL because JESUS AND HIS WORD is EVERLASTING.

ALL THE WORD OF GOD IS THE EVERLASTING GOSPEL [GOOD NEWS].

God bless

Q2. HOW DO WE GIVE GLORY TO GOD?

REVELATION 14:7, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God [φοβέω means to be frightened and alarmed, to be in awe and to revere, afraid and reverence], and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

GLORY [כּבוד כּבד Hebrew means splender and honour]

1 CHRONICLES 16:10 Glory you in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.

1 CHRONICLES 16:24 [PSALMS 96:3] Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvelous works among all nations.

1 CHRONICLES 16:27 Glory and honor are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place.

1 CHRONICLES 16:28-35 [PSALMS 96:7-10]

[28], Give to the LORD, you kindreds of the people, give to the LORD glory and strength.

[29], Give to the LORD the glory due to his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

PSALMS 29:1-2 [1], Give to the LORD, O you mighty, give to the LORD glory and strength.
[2], Give to the LORD the glory due to his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

PSALMS 62:7 In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.

PSALMS 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

JEREMAIAH 9:23-24 [23], Thus said the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: [24] But let him that glories glory in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD which exercise loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, said the LORD.

HOSEA 4:7 As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore, will I change their glory into shame.

JOHN 7:18 He that speaks of himself seeks his own glory: but he that seeks his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

ROMANS 2:6-13 [6], Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

[7], To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life: [8], But to them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, [9], Tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man that does evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; [10], But glory, honor, and peace, to every man that works good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: [11], For there is no respect of persons with God. [12], For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; [13], For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

PHILIPPIANS 1:11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

2 PETER 1:3 According as his divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that has called us to glory and virtue.

…………….

CONCLUSION: Giving glory to God means to live a life of holiness and obedience through faith in God’s WORD. Living a life of sin turns glory into shame *HOSEA 4:7. Living a life of holiness is declaring his name among the heathen. We are to worship God in the beauty of holiness.

Q1. What is the everlasting gospel and what judgement is come?
Q2. How do we give glory to God?
Q3. What does it mean to worship him that made the heavens and the earth?
...

Gospel is that sins are forgiven. Judgment is this:

This is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the light, and doesn't come to the light, lest his works would be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God."
John 3:19-21

These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.
Mat. 25:46

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23

We give glory to God by thanking Him and by admitting He is the creator.

And I think worshiping means we bow to Him.

HOW DO WE WORSHIP GOD AND WHY THE EMPHASIS ON CREATION? v7

REVELATION 14:7, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

NOTE: This scripture is not only about announcing God’s judgment where the standard in the judgment will be God’s Commandments, it is a direct call to worship God as the creator. How do we worship the creator?

God’s 4th Commandment says;

EXODUS 20:8-11
[8], REMEMBER THE SABBATH DAY, TO KEEP IT HOLY. <Why?> Because God made it Holy for mankind and commands us to keep it as a Holy day)
[9], Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work:
[10], But the SEVENTH DAY IS THE SABBATH of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: <WHY>
[11], For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the SEVENTH DAY: wherefore the LORD BLESSED THE SABBATH, and HALLOWED IT

Why does God’s 4th commandment start off to REMEMBER THE SABBATH DAY TO KEEP IT HOLY? God knew that mankind would forsake it to follow the man-made teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. Even in Paul’s day the mystery of iniquity was already at work *2 THESSALONIANS 2:5-8; ACTS 20:29-30 who will think to change times and laws

DANIEL 7:25 [25], And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

The MARK OF THE BEAST is over worship. Let's look at the scriptures...

REVELATION 13:8
[8], And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

REVELATION 13:12-16;
[12], And he exercises all the power of the first beast before him, and causes the earth and them who dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
[13], And he does great wonders, so that he makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
[14], And deceives them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, that had the wound by a sword, and did live.
[15], And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
[16], And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads

REVELATION 14:7-12.
[7], Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment has come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
[8], And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
[9], And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
[10], The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out undiluted into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
[11], And the smoke of their torment ascends up forever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receives the mark of his name.
[12], Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

God’s 4th COMMANDMENT is one of the 10 commandments that give us the KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and EVIL; SIN AND RIGHTEOUSNESS *ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7; JAMES 2:10-11; 1 JOHN 3:4; PSALMS 119:172.

If we KNOWINGLY break any one of God’s 10 commandments we stand guilty before God of sin *JAMES 2:10-11. God’s 4th Commandment is the ONLY commandment that is a MEMORIAL of creation and a call to worship GOD as the creator of heaven and earth. Nearly all mankind has forgotten God’s 4th commandment.

There is not one scripture in all of God’s WORD that says God’s 4th commandment has been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a HOLY day.

…………….

CONCLUSION: God’s commandments are the standard of GOOD AND EVIL; SIN and RIGHTEOUSNESS *ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7; JAMES 2:10-11; PSALMS 119:172. The whole world has neglected God’s 4th Commandment despite there being not a single scripture for it’s change. We are to worship God as the creator of heaven and earth. This is a call back to REMEMBER THE SABBATH DAY, TO KEEP IT HOLY. God’s 4th commandment is one of the 10 commandments. If we KNOWINGLY break it just like any of the other commandments we commit sin and sin will keep all those who KNOWINGLY practice it out of God’s KINGDOM *HEBREWS 10:26-27; 1 JOHN 2:3-4; HEBREWS 6:4-8; JAMES 2:10-11.

God bless...

Very true 1213, is that all there is to the gospel in your view?

I think it would be best to have the view Bible gives, and I think that is the Biblical view. Do you think there is something else?
Absolutely that is why I asked the question. What do you think Mark 1:15; Mark 8:35; Matthew 4:23; Hebrews 4:1-3; Matthew 9:35; Matthew 11:4-5; Luke 7:22; Luke 20:1 and Matthew 4:4 is talking about for example?

Those doesn’t tell exactly what is the Gospel, therefore I think it is still just that the sins are forgiven and so person is saved from the judgment that would come because of sin, if person accepts it.

The purpose of those scriptures provided was to show that the Gospel was more than "sins are forgiven". For example JESUS was preaching the Gospel as well as the disciples before JESUS had died and was resurrected. The children of ISRAEL had the Gospel preached to them when they left Egypt but did not believe it.

Sorry, I didn’t see anything like that in those scriptures. Can you explain with one example what do you mean?

JESUS is our sacrifice for sins and he had not died yet and was still living. Repentance was the theme of those scriptures.

Jesus forgave sins before the death of Jesus. That is why I think death is and was not necessary for that.

The scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, "Who is this that speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?" But Jesus, perceiving their thoughts, answered them, "Why are you reasoning so in your hearts? Which is easier to say, 'Your sins are forgiven you;' or to say, 'Arise and walk?' But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins" (he said to the paralyzed man), "I tell you, arise, and take up your cot, and go to your house." Immediately he rose up before them, and took up that which he was laying on, and departed to his house, glorifying God.
