What does the Bible say about heaven?
1Co 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Isa 64:4 For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.

Good enough for me. I can wait.

What does the Bible say about heaven?

Revelation 21

10And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the holy city of Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God, 11shining with the glory of God. Its radiance was like a most precious jewel, like a jasper, as clear as crystal. 12The city had a great and high wall with twelve gates inscribed with the names of the twelve tribes of Israel, and twelve angels at the gates. 13There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south, and three on the west.

14The wall of the city had twelve foundations bearing the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.15The angel who spoke with me had a golden measuring rod to measure the city and its gates and walls. 16The city lies foursquare, with its width the same as its length. And he measured the city with the rod, and all its dimensions were equal—12,000 stadia in length and width and height. 17And he measured its wall to be 144 cubits, by the human measure the angel was using.18The wall was made of jasper, and the city itself of pure gold, as pure as glass. 19The foundations of the city walls were adorned with every kind of precious stone:

The first foundation was jasper,
the second sapphire,
the third chalcedony,
the fourth emerald,
20the fifth sardonyx,
the sixth carnelian,
the seventh chrysolite,
the eighth beryl,
the ninth topaz,
the tenth chrysoprase,
the eleventh jacinth,

and the twelfth amethyst.21And the twelve gates were twelve pearls, with each gate consisting of a single pearl. The main street of the city was pure gold, as clear as glass.22But I saw no temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, because the glory of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its lamp.

24By its light the nations will walk, and into it the kings of the earth will bring their glory.f 25Its gates will never be shut at the end of the day, because there will be no night there.26And into the city will be brought the glory and honor of the nations. 27But nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who practices an abomination or a lie, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

What does the Bible say about heaven?

God`s word says the there are 3 heavenly realms -
1. Atmospheric around the earth.
2. The Universe where are the stars and planets.
3. The third heaven, the angelic realm.

The Godhead`s authority (throne) is beyond the created order, and over it.

Then the third heaven will be where the Lord will be seen visibly to rule with His Body. (Rev. 3: 21)

We are not in the New Jerusalem which comes down from God. That is for the Old testament saints who looked for it. (Heb. 11)

The New Earth will be for those who died under the age of accountability, and also for those who never heard the gospel but lived rightly according to their conscience. Then again the great multitude that no one can count will be there too. (Rev. 7: 9 - 17, 20: 12, 21: 24, )

The most interesting aspect from Revelation 21-22 is that heaven is portrayed as less about what you're doing and more about who you are with - finally, in full sense, one will be with God (those not 'in' will be 'outside').

Paul is a Christian but in Philippians longs to be "with" Christ (after death). So then that we are both with him now, but not yet with him = true.

Revelation 21:3 "And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them,"

Sure we look forward to the peaceful, deathless, sick-less, non-decaying, different, quiet-living and non-struggling life of heaven in the good land... but in all of this, mostly, we are to look forward to being with God.

And mostly, I think we would attest, that even in this world, in this life, our joy and satisfaction is found in/with Him, learning contentment in whatever else our circumstances external. Thus, our ultimate joy will also be to be with him... our bridegroom having gone away (to the Father), we wait to be united to him.
