My State's Health Director says they are going to do mandatory vaccination, without exemption.

And is the Church just going to actually try to protect the laity? Or is it just going to roll over like with the original COVID restrictions. Because letting the common people have experimental technologies injected to them is 'patriotic' now?

People I know are getting prepared to lose their jobs and go to jail. Even Fr. Josiah Trenham has theorized that the reason the prisons are being emptied is so that they can be filled with a new class of 'criminal.

Of course, natural instinct would require protecting family and oneself -using lethal force if required.

States have authority to fine or jail people who refuse coronavirus vaccine, attorney says

just keep vigilant and pray, talk to your representatives. even the article says that just a state can do something, that it will.

be ready, but no sense putting the proverbial cart before the horse.

I don't see how looking for a responses to current events is fear-mongering.
Free-wheeling conspiratorial speculation about potential future events, not current events.

So, until the needle is penetrating my body as I'm forcibly injected - that's when it becomes current events?

Wow, Thanks for this article. I'm not an anti-vaxxer in any way, I vaccinated my children and I get a flu shot yearly due to having had bad pneumonia one year after I got influenza A. But I'm not putting an experimental vaccine in my body willy-nilly, that may have aborted fetuses in it, that has been rushed out.
Not until I'm convinced it is safe. My grandparents were vaccinated in 1976 with the swine flu vaccine that was rushed out, as all elderly over 65 were strongly encouraged to get the vaccination. My grandmother swore that several of her health problems that lasted the rest of her life came from that vaccine. (Then President Ford was also vaccinated.)
I did read about New York forcibly vaccinating people in 1905 for small pox.
I hope it doesn't come to forcing people. I have indeed read article of those in the scientific community advocating that it be compulsory. Or mandatory with a card or chip stating one has been vaccinated, with certain jobs not granting employment and stores not granting entry if one can't show the card.

This is an insulting and nigh schismatic accusation.

Not in the article you posted.

call me when it's anywhere near happening. Even then, what's the relation to Orthodoxy besides Trenhamite ravings?

St. Peter denied Christ thrice, he was redeemed later. The hierarchy likewise defecated itself at the start. The question is, will the hierarchy defecate itself again?

I say the “hierarchy” and not the Church because there are many in the Church who are not afraid of the disease (and many who are).

It could also be chalked up to a lack of discernment in regards to the world, or it could be deliberate, although applying Hanlon's Razor may be the best bet.

I have met Fr Josiah and spoken to him a number of times and have a great deal of respect for his views. That you refer to them as "ravings" just confirms my opinion of your views.

...
Trenhamite ravings?

Perhaps, you, who've come here without anything other than accusations, should consider the slanders you raise against clergy.

Somehow the Orthodox clergy who have aligned themselves with Marxist groups and groups that favor abortion are ‘civilized’ and the traditional clergy are conspiracy loons and extremists in the eyes of some posters.

Xenophon, I am a former Catholic and Anglican. I have seen it all when it comes to left wing Marxists, liberals, and trolls. I learned a long time ago, using the ignore button against the far left socialists is infinitely more empowering than engaging them. Engaging trolls and liberals and the gang feeds their hunger to be the fly in the ointment.

Ignore button.

press it.

Feel invigorated! ^_^:sorry:

You don't know you're doing it for the Bill Gates?
No, I’m doing it for all of the families I’ve had to console when they couldn’t visit their dying relatives over the past five months and had to listen to weeping in despair knowing grandma had to die alone. Also for my three coworkers who died of covid, two of whom were young and healthy. But sure.....flat earth....Qanon....all that garbage.

And what satanic coldness 'requires' them to die alone? What civilized nation requires a complete lack of interpersonal compassion in favor of bureaucratic death management? There is no 'had to' that isn't wrapped in a false, if enforced, imperative. It's like saying, 'oh, John just had to die alone in the Gulag' - there's something implied in that 'had to' and it's just a pretense for a false compassion.

So, QAnon and flat earth yourself - how dare you - how dare you come here with inane boomer conspiracies as if to imply a correlation. Speak straightforwardly and say what you mean, instead of hiding behind absurdities - as if there is any relevance. You take your sneering and get out of here.

How about someone serious respond instead.
