You mean this Revelation 11:8? "My translation" does not change the word. That is simply, solely, undeniably, irrefutably, a blatant falsehood. I encourage you not to make assumptions about others, Kenneth.
Revelation 11:8 KJV
"And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified."
Revelation 11:8 NAS
"And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which mystically is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified."
Revelation 11:8 BLB
"And their body will be upon the street of the great city, which is called spiritually Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified."
Revelation 11:8 ESV
"and their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city that symbolically is called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was crucified."
Revelation 11:8 NIV
"Their bodies will lie in the public square of the great city--which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt--where also their Lord was crucified."
Revelation 11:8 YLT
"and their dead bodies are upon the broad-place of the great city (that is called spiritually Sodom, and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified,)"
An examination of the Greek reveals the word is "
auton" which is translated "
of them." As in "
The body of them upon the street..." It would appear your source is incorrect about Rev. 11:8.
The grammar you are using makes it read as if you are saying 1611 English was spoken by God at the beginning of creation. Is that what you mean to be saying?
If not is this op an effort to argue KJV-Onlyism?
