That’s just it isn’t it. Some churches have rules written in stone that they bow to, whether they believe them or not. It’s a form of proselytism to think anything will change what they have made stone statues out of. It’s just a different spirit in many ways.
Yes, it's rare that I argue against the church traditions of denominations that hold it to be of more importance than even scripture or historical fact, because they can always just fall back on "that's the way we've always done it" and who can argue against that, especially if one isn't even a member of the denomination in question.
