I believe you, and there is no doubt that you are working hard to improve the world around you. I'm not trying to talk you into Christianity. All I am doing is acknowledging to you what you believe already. You don't love God, because you don't believe that there is a God. Therefore, you don't believe that there is a heaven, so you certainly won't be going there.
I don't think that you really know what will happen to you after death, but I think you are hoping that it will be just oblivion. But we won't know that for sure until we get to that point.
The interesting thing about Solomon was, that he was king of Israel, immensely wealthy so that he had everything he needed and wanted in life. He had a thousand wives who catered for his every need, improved Israel immensely by building the Temple, and so he was famous and well-respected by all. So, he lived a great life. Yet as an old man, as we see in the book of Ecclesiastes, he was deeply depressed and miserable and said, "All is vanity. We live just like animals, and we die like the animals and go to the grave." In spite of all that wealth and fame and the good life, all had turned to dust when he got old.
I wonder whether that will be your future? When all your hard work has crumpled to dust in your old age, will you end up depressed and miserable and say to the nurse who is attending you in the old folks home, "Life has lost its meaning for me"?
I often doubted doing good because often it feels so bad and miserable inside but I believe in it really and wants to have a better world, I`m not disrespecting your beliefs but I rather work hard here on earth to make it better instead of believing in something, yes I understand but he was probably being negative I haven`t really had the time to be the same
