Dear brothers and sisters,
I am writing this from Johannesburg, South Africa, so maybe it is just our apocalyptic environment over here that drove me to this dream or otherwise my mother telling me about her apocalyptic dream from the night before. Our dreams were quite different though as she dreamt a storm picked up all the sinners and blew them around.
My dream, on the other hand, was quite scary. I still feel "depressed" just recalling the bits from it.
I was with friends who I know to be Christian and we were in some form of emergency meeting. Suddenly hordes of mad people stormed the house and there was gunfights, warlike settings. Next thing the suns dims. Angels fly in the sky, but no one sees them. There is war above and war below. The sun goes dark and then light again on and of. There are drought and general misery. I keep shouting that God has finally returned and everyone laughs this off given the horrific circumstances. Some people are amazed at spaceships and strange creatures falling from the sky. From below the earth, abominable beings appear. I woke up sweating and distressed as the scenes were something I have never seen. Death, destruction, misery, etc. We live in a very violent society and as such we have been desensitized to murder and misery in South Africa, but this dream was the absolute horror. I never doubted God's presence in all of it, but I could not stop praying in my dream for Him to make it stop. I prayed for forgiveness for all. I prayed for judgment to stop. The "hour" in which it all happened was just too much for any human mind to grasp or accept. It was like everyone was trapped in a lonely dark pit of finality. I really cannot even start to describe or adequately explain how horrific it all was.
Anyone else had something similar? Any suggestions on what it could mean? After I woke up I felt so dark and alone, because of the lack of light and love and hope in that dream.
