I was going to share my rape story, but I saw another guy on Twitter eviscerated by feminists, telling him men cant be raped and his rape doesn't matter. Now, this whole movement to me is a sham. It's just another man-hating liberal cult.

For some male victims of sexual assault and abuse, #MeToo can feel more like #WhatAboutMe?
They admire the women speaking out about traumatic experiences as assault and harassment victims, while wondering whether men with similar scars will ever receive a comparable level of public empathy and understanding.
All these things explain themselves the minute the fact dawns that, whatever the issue is, the purpose is to divide the populace into interest groups and pit them against each other.

This is rampant on both sides of the aisle. As long as America fights, Washington wins and keeps their Swamp enriching them.

We have to all be on the alert. Even on this Christian site it seems we don't recognize and hear about the fall that often. We are told to keep a watch on the world the devil and our flesh.

As Born Again Christians know (although possibly lazy at times) this is a full-time job.

If and when I'm feeling a little puffed up I had better go take a long hard look at the one looking back at me in the mirror.

Although the fall is no excuse that many, many have been hurt by many.

Prayers going out at 7:52 a.m. for all of us on this God blessed day. Doing our best to do His will one day at a time.

Who didn't keep his pants on either.

I don't think we needed that thrown in Dave? At least I didn't.
Have a blessed day, MB

I bristle at MLK being brought up in topics of sexuality. He had multiple affairs, and I'm not sure all were consensual.

While I once had great respect for the man, not so much after all of that came out.

As a leader in his community, and a pastor, he should have set a better example.

Who didn't keep his pants on either.

Those without sin cast the first stone.

David horrendously sinned. He even had the woman's husband killed in cold blood, a very loyal and gallant man, who would've laid his life down for David.

Yet, he was forgiven, as we all are when we seek mercy and forgiveness and God's inexplicable grace.

As MLK Jr said:

"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."

(There's also Oskar Schindler. A man of many faults and blatant sins. Yet God used him mightily. He never DREAMED that he would do what it says in Isaiah about rescuing those headed for death. Yet he did. God can use ANY of us, warts n' all. He would've most likely been right in sync with MLK Jr's above quote.))

Yes, he should have.

That doesn't make his quote about injustice any less true, nor it's applicability to situations any less valid.

I think some women have little compassion for men who are raped because for years women have been told they couldn't be raped, it was their fault they were raped because of their clothing, it was their fault because they shouldn't have been where they were, it was their fault because they are a tease, etc.

It's not fair to treat male sexual assault victims badly and it shouldn't happen. But men need to speak up and not let their abusers get away with it. It takes a lot of guts to do it but it's the only way to bring recognition to the problem.

God bless you, Saucy. May He comfort you and give you peace.

i agree with part of what you said. However, NO ONE should EVER be raped and NO ONE, including women should EVER "discount", "trivialize", or make of "no account" the suffering, abuse, torment or "demeaning" of ANYONE.

Yes, it takes a lot of guts for especially men and boys to speak out. And NO ONE should EVER be ridiculed for it.

i join you in supporting, encouraging, and praying for Saucy and all victims of this kind of horror.
