Well, I commend you for your list of ten, but a list of twenty would have been better. You forgot someone who has been in the news recently and that it has been rumored might run in 2020. I refer to Sen. Gillibrand of NY. Hence, I am looking at this like a real election and I am casting my vote as a write-in for Kirsten Gillibrand and encourage others to do so. As for Gov. Brown, Sen. Sanders and former VP Biden, I have to believe that their age will stop them in the end, but I could be wrong. For what it is worth, I have also heard that Gov. Cuomo of NY might be interested, as well as former Gov. O'Malley of MD, who ran last time at the beginning of the nominating process. Another tidbit is that a good friend of mine wants Congressman Joe Kennedy to run.

I'd prefer Bloomberg to anyone there. However, I am more than fine with Biden.
=====================
The problem for me is that I've been here before. It is the time to allow the left to run for the presidency, and they will likely lose. We are a centrist country.

The left wouldn't support Hubert Humphrey against Nixon. We had Nixon for 8 years. The left has given us McGovern, Mondale, and Dukakis. They will likely give us Warren or Sanders. Independents will then support whoever the Republicans run.
I dearly wish that Bloomberg would run as an Independent. He wanted to last year, but decided that he could not get to 270 Electoral Votes.

I have to vote my conscience, I just couldn't bring myself to vote for either of them.

I understand. And I understand that is difficult to allow others to make the choice that affects all of us and the entire world.

Independents don't win in the US. They need to run in one of the two parties. Sanders has chosen that in 2016 and will again in 2020, even though he is an independent. Perot was the last to try.

A Bloomberg run as an independent would likely guarantee a Republican victory, as the Republican base will continue to vote Republican.

I'm an Independent and I didn't vote for Trump or Clinton. But I would have voted for Kasich.

OK, I'm a yellow dog, Bill Clinton Democrat. I live in the South where we understand party loyalty. And I would have voted for Reagan's budget man also (Kasich).

What qualifications did a second rate actor who co-starred with a chimp have to be president?
Did that add to the discussion? That "actor" was a Two-term governor of a state that had a GNP, even at that time, that was higher than most industrialized countries. 8 years Jack... as opposed to a one-term Senator who spent most of his time running for President and he was followed by a businessman with no political experience at all.... and you can only manage that kind of comment? I thought you were far beyond that!

One could probably argue the case that Oprah Winfrey is actually more successful than Donald Trump was when he decided to run for president. He's already proven the job requires no previous experience in government and she's not half as deranged as he's come off.

I think Oprah could handedly beat Trump in an election.
Yes, but I think my post was clear in saying neither Trump nor Winfrey are qualified to run this country.

A woman candidate such as Sen. Collins (as an a Democrat) or Sen Gillibrand would handily beat Trump.

....IMO, Trump won't run for re-election in any case....the Presidency is too much work.

What qualifications does an actress/talk show host have that makes you think she can run a country? I think we're already pushing it with a one-term Senator followed by a business man.

That is a good question..... for one I actually believe that President Trump and V. P. Pence are going to be nearly impossible to beat in 2020 so..........
best case scenario for the Dems is actually to set in motion a series of events that will turn out to be win - win - win - win - win for 99% of Americans............

..... what worries me about the next several years is the possible threat of a serious devaluation of the USA dollar that could cause major economic trouble as shown to Pastor Shane Warren in a dream back around 2011 or so..........

Some well informed people worry that this attempt will take place in 2018... 2000 + 6+6+6......

Oprah would worry more so about Americans being safe... than about her own career..... and assisted by Mr. Chris Brown she would be able to educate Americans at all levels....... even the leadership of the G.O.P. about how best to respond to a potential crisis of this nature.

So Oprah and Mr. Chris Brown to my thinking....... are the type of leadership needed to get us through what seems to be looming on the horizon????

I believe that President Donald J. Trump would coopt really good ideas as they are elaborated on......
The dream of the hurricane of money is at the 17 minute mark in this video......

Prophecy for America, money devalued, earthquake then revival for church?!

If one looks at Economics, the US is due for another “correction”. Additionally the Kansas-style Tax cuts will yield similar results. That will drive Trump into the ditch and open the door for the Democrats.

The only reason Trump hasn’t been impeached or otherwise politically buried is the bull market he inherited.

Joe Manchin is the only Democrat I can think of that I can stand, so him. As in, he moves the party in his direction.

I'm Canadian.... so this is pretty much the first time that I heard of him........
Thank you for commenting.......

Wouldn't it be wonderful to have somebody in the Presidency who got along reasonably well even with their political opponents?

Joe Manchin - Wikipedia

As a member of Congress, Manchin is known for his bipartisanship, voting or working with Republicans on issues such as abortion and gun ownership. He has opposed the energy policies of President Barack Obama, declined to vote on both the Don't Ask, Don't Tell Repeal Act of 2010 and the DREAM ACT, voted for removing federal funding from Planned Parenthood in 2015 (but voted to preserve funding for the organization in 2017), and voted to confirm most of President Donald Trump's cabinet appointees. Manchin supported Trump's decision to withdraw from the 2015 Paris Climate Agreement. In 2017, he voted against allowing states to divert money away from abortion providers. He has repeatedly voted against attempts to repeal the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

Why the fascination with 666? It is never mentioned in the Bible. The number that is mentioned in the Miletus number system is 600+60+6. The 666 is from the Arabic numeral system about 800 years later.

Dennis Kucinich!

My apologies for being a relatively ignorant Canadian......
but I hadn't even heard of him until now either.....

Interesting.... I have a really good friend from Cleveland, Ohio, who in my opinion... is one of the most astonishingly gifted Christians who I have ever met.......

Dennis Kucinich - Wikipedia

From 1977 to 1979, Kucinich served as the 53rd Mayor of Cleveland, Ohio, a tumultuous term in which he survived a recall election and was successful in a battle against selling the municipal electric utility before being defeated for reelection by George Voinovich.

Through his various governmental positions and campaigns, Kucinich attracted attention for consistently delivering "the strongest liberal" perspective.[2] This perspective has been shown by his actions, such as bringing Articles of Impeachment against President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney, and being the only Democratic candidate in the 2008 election to have voted against invading Iraq.[3] (Eventual nominee Barack Obama also opposed the Iraq War when it started, but he was not yet in Congress at the time.)

Because of redistricting following the 2010 state elections, Ohio's 9th congressional district absorbed part of Cuyahoga County, abolishing Kucinich's district, and pitting him against 9th District incumbent Marcy Kaptur in the 2012 Democratic primary, which he lost.[4][5][6][7][8] After he served out the remainder of his term, it was announced in mid-January 2013 that the former Congressman would become a political analyst, and a regular contributor on the Fox News Channel, appearing on programs such as The O'Reilly Factor.[9] Kucinich also serves on the Ron Paul Institute Advisory Board.[10]

Bob Schrecengost......

I got a test in mind for Mr. Kucinich..........
I wonder if he could go through a Fire Tunnel set up by Prophet Bob..... and NOT FALL ON THE FLOOR......... it a fit of laughter.... like my wife so often does........ when she is in a fire tunnel.

My daughter and I .... for some reason..... can usually walk through Fire Tunnels... and we may get a lump in our throat and a tear in our eyes.... but we don't fall down....... I believe it is because I got used to fairly serious levels of the Presence of G-d........... especially since 1990 when I went through a time of disappointment with Messiah Yeshua - Jesus.

Although President Obama was definitely not one of my favourite Presidents.....
he and his team deserve a lot of credit for handling the economic crisis of 2008
quite wisely....... because America could have led the world into a serious depression if
some of the less than wise ideas of some overly idealistic Republicans had been
applied at that time.
