why does Peter have to say anything about it? Revelation tells us after the millennial reign heaven and earth will pass away.

The problem is that the Book of Revelation is not in chronological order.
Instead, it is a series of overlapping visions.

The 7th trumpet is the last trumpet in the Bible.
The text of Revelation 11:15 says that it is the time that the kingdoms of this world become the kingdoms of God and Christ "forever". How long is forever? Is it 1,000 years long?

The nations, and wrath, and "the time of the judgment of the dead" is found in Revelation 11:18.
You cannot have a judgment of the dead without a resurrection of the dead, which is described by Christ in John 5:27-30.

Your statement above is correct.
You just revealed that the millennial reign ends at the Second Coming of Christ, which is found at the end of Revelation chapter 6, and chapter 11, and the "harvest" of chapter 14, and when He "comes as a thief" in Revelation 16:15-16, and in chapter 19, and at the end of chapter 20.

Revelation 20:1-6 represents the Lords spiritual realm, there is no time in the spiritual realm, A Thousand years is a day " No Earthly Time" Thousand is not literal.
2 Peter 3:8, Psalms 50:10

In verses 1-6 you see 100% spiritual beings, in the Lord's eternal realm of no time.
Angel, heaven, devil, satan, the souls, the dead, God, Christ, there is no physical earthly kingdom seen, none "A Fairy Tale Teaching"

Thats why this false teaching turns to the Old Testament, trying desparately to create a earthly millennial kingdom, "That Isn't There"!

(Example) Isaiah 65, Ezekiel 47, Zechariah 14, these chapters all represent the "Eternal Kingdom" not a earthly one.

This non-literal 1000 year reign is from the Lords earthly ministry to the second advent.

If a future tribulatuon saint dies one week before the second advent, he enters the non-literal 1000 year reign.

"Don't Be Deceived", A 1000 Year Earthly Kingdom Isn't Found In The Holy Scripture.

Matthew 24:23-27 Jesus Warns Against This False Teaching, Jesus Christ Will Not Return To Earth, And Hang Out With Mortal Humans.

"Believe It Not"!

Jesus Christ Is The Lord :)

You are wearing glasses that blind you to the scriptures and current events as to how they are related. If you read the law of the prophets in Duet the prophet must be 100% or he is a false prophet. Peter says no prophecy is of any private interpretation. So when I read Zechariah and see he was literal about Messiah coming in on the foal of a Donkey and he was literal on Jesus being betrayed for 30 pieces of silver and the money being given to the potter that is showing me that Zech 14 we have great reason to believe that the Mt of Olives will split in two on that day and the LORD will be king over all the earth. We see Jerualem being overrun but the LORD comes with his saints. Jude affirms this quoting Enoch saying he saw the LORD coming with 10'000 of His saints. We see the enemies melted graphically on a day when it is light at night. We see the nations from that time on having to come keep the feast of tabernacles or they get no rain. This is when Satan is bound for 1000 years and those who in REvelation say were beheaded for their testimony lived and reigned with Jesus 1000 years. The literal sense makes sense and currently all signs are showing the rise of a one world government that is embracing demonic doctrine. The prophecy are lined up specifically and chronologically to be fulfilled and the prophets indeed will be 100% correct in a literal sense without the private interpretation you have put over them.

We perceive from where we are at within the process taking place within...there be some who have already entered in...and it is not something the physical eye of man can ever 'see' or enter...for spirit is spirit and the flesh profiteth nothing...

The revealing taking place within...in the twinkling of an eye..."each man in his own order"...at first dimly, then face to face...know as we have always been known. Internal truth...

Luke

36As they were talking about these things, Jesus himself stood among them, and said to them, “Peace to you!” 37But they were startled and frightened and thought they saw a spirit. 38And he said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts arise in your hearts? 39See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Touch me, and see. For a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have.” 40And when he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet. 41And while they still disbelieved for joy and were marveling, he said to them, “Have you anything here to eat?” 42They gave him a piece of broiled fish,b 43and he took it and ate before them.

Jesus wanted to make sure they knew he had a physical body.

I'm with you in spirit, but just though I'd mention that we are talking about Revelation, here - Where churches are lampstands, Jesus is a lamb, and the second death is a "lake of fire".

Jesus wanted to make sure they knew he had a physical body.
Yes he did! However:

1 Corinthians 15:35-58New Living Translation (NLT)
The Resurrection Body
35 But someone may ask, “How will the dead be raised? What kind of bodies will they have?” 36 What a foolish question! When you put a seed into the ground, it doesn’t grow into a plant unless it dies first. 37 And what you put in the ground is not the plant that will grow, but only a bare seed of wheat or whatever you are planting. 38 Then God gives it the new body he wants it to have. A different plant grows from each kind of seed.39 Similarly there are different kinds of flesh—one kind for humans, another for animals, another for birds, and another for fish.

40 There are also bodies in the heavens and bodies on the earth. The glory of the heavenly bodies is different from the glory of the earthly bodies. 41 The sun has one kind of glory, while the moon and stars each have another kind. And even the stars differ from each other in their glory.

42 It is the same way with the resurrection of the dead. Our earthly bodies are planted in the ground when we die, but they will be raised to live forever. 43 Our bodies are buried in brokenness, but they will be raised in glory. They are buried in weakness, but they will be raised in strength. 44 They are buried as natural human bodies, but they will be raised as spiritual bodies. For just as there are natural bodies, there are also spiritual bodies.

45 The Scriptures tell us, “The first man, Adam, became a living person.” But the last Adam—that is, Christ—is a life-giving Spirit.46 What comes first is the natural body, then the spiritual body comes later. 47 Adam, the first man, was made from the dust of the earth, while Christ, the second man, came from heaven. 48 Earthly people are like the earthly man, and heavenly people are like the heavenly man. 49 Just as we are now like the earthly man, we will someday be like the heavenly man.

50 What I am saying, dear brothers and sisters, is that our physical bodies cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. These dying bodies cannot inherit what will last forever.

51 But let me reveal to you a wonderful secret. We will not all die, but we will all be transformed! 52 It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed. 53 For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies.

54 Then, when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die, this Scripture will be fulfilled:

“Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?”

56 For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power. 57 But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58 So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.

That remained another 40 days on the earth before being taken up into heaven in a cloud...glorified. (Israel wandered 40 years in the wilderness to reach the promised land is a picture of the same truth as it relates to our soul...)

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

What will happen at Jesus 2nd coming. What itt looks like. It’s a glorious powerful, noisy audible, visual event

Matthew 24:27; 1 Thess. 4:16-17; Matthew 24:30-31; Revelation 1:7; 2 Peter 3:10

1st Resurrection: - When Jesus Christ returns at the second coming, the graves will burst open and the righteous will rise up with immortal bodies. And together with the saints who have gone through the great tribulation and are still alive, will meet Jesus in the air ... 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 ...' For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.' ... The rest of the dead (lost) will not live again until the 1000 years are over ... Revelation 20:5 ...'But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished.'

The 1000 Year Millennium: - After Christ has returned at the second coming and resurrects the saints (from the grave), He takes us (saints resurrected from the grave and saints alive at that time) home to the Heavenly Kingdom and the New Jerusalem, and there we dwell for 1000 years, while Satan is bound to this desolate earth with no one to tempt (i.e. “in prison - Rev 20:1 -3 ) as all the living wicked were killed at His second coming. , we DO NOT spend the 1000 years on earth.

2nd Resurrection: After the 1000 years in Heaven, we return to this earth in the New Jerusalem (Rev. 21:2). The wicked are resurrected and Satan gathers them together to fight in an attempt to take the New Jerusalem ... Revelation 20:9-10 ...'And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.' .The wicked are thrown into the lake of fire, where they are consumed and cease to exist, Even Satan himself is finally destroyed and will cease to exist. SIN IS FINALLY DESTROYED!! AMEN!!!
What Will Happen At The Return Of Jesus?

It's gonna be a whole lot of fire, as this earth is dissolved by the Lords fire in judgment.

2 Peter 3:10, 2 Thessalonians 1:7-8, Micah 3:2, Luke 17:29-30, Zechariah 14:12, Psalms 46:6, 1 Corinthians 3:13, Nahum 1:5, Isaiah 24:20

pneuma: wind, spirit
Original Word: πνεῦμα, ατος, τό
Part of Speech: Noun, Neuter
Transliteration: pneuma
Phonetic Spelling: (pnyoo'-mah)
Short Definition: wind, breath, spirit
Definition: wind, breath, spirit.
HELPS Word-studies
4151 pneúma – properly, spirit (Spirit), wind, or breath. The most frequent meaning (translation) of 4151 (pneúma) in the NT is "spirit" ("Spirit"). Only the context however determines which sense(s) is meant.

[Any of the above renderings (spirit-Spirit, wind, breath) of 4151(pneúma) is always theoretically possible (spirit, Spirit, wind, breath). But when the attributive adjective ("holy") is used, it always refers to the Holy Spirit. "Spirit" ("spirit") is by far the most common translation (application) of 4151 (pneúma).

The word Spirit when the first letter is capitalized in most translations is to alert the reader it is referencing that it is the Holy Spirit. When in doubt go back to the original Greek or Hebrew for clarification.

Luke 17:21

Here Jesus is talking to the disciples directly.

Look at Luke 17:22

22And He said to the disciples, “The days will come when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it.

He was telling the disciples that they themselves would not see the days of the Son of Man because His 2nd coming was and still is in the future.

Yes, this is after the 1,000 year reign (saved in heaven from the 1st resurrection) and after the 2nd resurrection all the unrighteous (the unsaved dead) from the 2nd resurrection, and Satan and his minions (raised unsaved dead) and the fallen angels and the earth is consumed by fire and are never more. Then the Lord makes the earth anew.

If that is the case, John lied to us when he told us the following.

and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Reigning for one week is hardly the same as reigning with Christ a thousand years. The text says that eveyone who has part in the first resurrection, they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. It does not say any of them shall reign with Him for 1 week, or 1 month, or one year, etc, it plainly says a thousand years. No one in their right mind could think 1 week and a thousand years are referring to the same amount of time.

And speaking of time, in heaven where departed saved souls go upon death, are they dwelling on earth time there as well?? IOW, when 24 hours pass on the earth and another day either begins or ends, is this the same thing that happens in heaven as well? One would think a thousand years would only be relevant to earthly and not heavenly too. After all, the text indicates when the thousand years expires, satan shall be released out of his prison. Clearly none of that involves anything taking place in heaven, but involves what is taking place on the earth. Thus the thousand years have to do with earthly and not heavenly.
Where does it say it was on earth?

There is no dead resurrected in revelation 20:1-6, the resurrection of the believer is on "The Last Day" at the second advent. John 6:40

The second advent takes place "immediately after the tribulation" Matthew 24:29-31
The tribulation happened in 70ad

The word Spirit when the first letter is capitalized in most translations is to alert the reader it is referencing that it is the Holy Spirit. When in doubt go back to the original Greek or Hebrew for clarification.

Luke 17:21

Here Jesus is talking to the disciples directly.

Look at Luke 17:22

22And He said to the disciples, “The days will come when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it.

He was telling the disciples that they themselves would not see the days of the Son of Man because His 2nd coming was and still is in the future.

The son of man being His flesh, not yet ascended back to the Father...and they would long to fellowship with him in the flesh...Ezekiel was also referred to as 'son of man'...

Matthew 24:21 happened literally in 70AD?

"for then shall be great tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever shall be."

That "ever shall be" part kind negates that. There was some nastiness for the Jews back in the early 1940's IIRC.

Even Satan himself is finally destroyed and will cease to exist. SIN IS FINALLY DESTROYED!! AMEN!!!

And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.
Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth

And people have been having great tribulation the likes that has never been seen...everyday in the here and now...

I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.

Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the Lord have created it.

Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker!
