Brian,
The US is not responsible for the horrible tragedies happening in other countries. Those are issues that concern the world as a whole. The US immigration laws are specific and those violating them continue to violate not just immigration laws but many other laws as they live in the shadows of US society. Your emotional arguments of the application to US laws to citizens is a fallacy since no one here is comparing criminal laws applied to citizens to immigration laws applied to illegal immigrants.

There are people here comparing those two... and there are far more ignoring the comparison. If the US has no stake in the tragedies of other countries, why has a single soldier died in the last sixty-nine years?

because again we cannot support all those people. I do not know if you have been in a classroom lately, but the ratio in public schools are BAD. We also do not have the jobs to support everyone remember MILLIONS are already out of work.
As for young children. Let me say that a different way if you came here KNOWING what you were doing was wrong so if you are a teen or up. Although non-citizen totders SHOULD be deported with their families.

The poster did NOT say that we had NO stake in it, but we cannot be the savior of the world; we are not there to save everyone from the mistakes of their governments ( elected or not.)

Again, if they are not cititzens we cannot support everyone, so you get deported and if the child decides as an adult he or she wishes to come here the LEGAL way they are welcome to do so.

Again, we can only support so many people here; that means that if we deported the people who knew what they were doing if the child was under 18; they would either end up in the system OR would be sent home with their families. Well, the system is already too crowded without children of people here ILLEGALLY.

nope. I have NO p[roblem with people of ANY race, as long as you obey the laws BOTH for coming here and once here,At least she's not advocating putting young Mexican children into Residential Schools to forcibly assimilate them into white culture.
