I'm sure I'm wasting time with this (you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink), but here it goes
You have to understand Yeshusavedme that the bible is not a science text book, and in fact there are not so scientific accurate things in the bible (such as verses in the bible which support an ancient world view, such as the earth not being a sphere, and the earth not rotating around the sun, etc). But you also have to understand that being 100% scientifically/historically accurate is not the main reason of the Bible, and for whatever reasons, God chose not to use the bible to preach science (doesn't explain to the people the actual shape of the earth and that it rotates around the sun, big bang, age of universe/earth, etc).
You really have to understand the context/culture of the people writing the bible, and understand that God gave the authors certain freedom in what to put into the bible, which is why we find ancient understands of the world within the bible, which now are shown to be inaccurate.
Treating the Bible as if it was actually 100% written by God himself and is 100% literal in everything it states (instead of looking at other possible interpretations for said verses) is causing you to become very ignorant.
Please us the sense of reason/understand within the brain that God gave you
And with that amazing reason you can use the power of SCIENCE (which we only have because God allowed it, we wouldn't have science if we did not have the kind of brain we have) to see that the Earth (and other planets) rotate around the sun. And if you do that, im sure you could find other truths about the universe that you originally ignored/denied because of your previous interpretation of certain verses.
Of course you are probably going to ignore any sense of reason and chuck misinterpretations of bible verses at me in the name of your war on the findings of modern science.
And just for fun......
