And is this the "full measure" of the Spirit,
or do some people have more of Him?

And I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh.

When we trust in the risen and crucified Lord Jesus Christ alone as our Saviour.

John 7:37-39
37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

Ephesians 1:12-14
King James Version (KJV)
12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Thank you.
So you receive it if you are baptized then?
What if you're a baby?

No mention of baptism.

We receive the Spirit at regeneration, and we receive Him without measure. John 3:34
Thanks!
He who has received His testimony has set his seal to this, that God is true. 34"For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for He gives the Spirit without measure. 35"The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand.…

So "who" get's the Spirit without measure?

We receive the Spirit at regeneration, and we receive Him without measure. John 3:34

We also know that we are individuals and each of us are part of God's perfect plan. Each of us are equipped according to our future ministry according to God's plans for us.

That does not mean that I have less of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is working out God's plan for my life. In turn, each of us has the Holy Spirit working out God's plan for their life.

That's the way I see it. Same plan, individual callings as part of that perfect plan.

I don't really desire other people's gifts and callings. I believe I am where God wants me to be. I have to know He is the one with the 'perfect plan'. Myself, no perfect here. I'd mess up anything that looked like perfect. Been doing it over and over all my life.

Formally, Biblically, and normally, upon Holy Baptism, which regenerates and saves according to Holy Scripture.
Are you refering to water baptism or Spirit baptsim?

All who are regenerated. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ and comes to us unmeasured, undivided, not in part or percentage.
Thank you. So does He also lead us into all truth?
Or is that just for a select few?

It's my opinion that the Spirit is always with us.
With who?
Beginning when?
Thanks!

The Spirit of Christ leads all who He indwells. We can frustrate His leading. We can run ahead, take matters into our own hands, try to do for Christ - instead of just keeping step with Him, instead of resting in Him. We can get re-entangled in law and allow it to hinder us from walking in the Spirit and experiencing everything that the Spirit wants to lead us into.

The Spirit is not in us to point out our faults or shortcomings but to lead us into the truth of His perfect fullness and His finished work. Under grace we are guided into this truth, to live in Jesus’ perfect peace.

The Orthodox understanding is that they are two separate events. In baptism we are united to Christ, snd in "chrismation" (or whatever else you want to call it), we are sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit. But while they sre separate, we always do them back-to-back. And while they are separate, they are not separable. It was the Holy Spirit who brought Christ into the world at the Annunciation, and it was Christ who brought the Holy Spirit to us at Pentecost.

We also believe that fullness of the Holy Spirit comes to us when we are sealed with Him, and that there is no subsequent "greater measure" of Him to receive. The only thing after that is the extent to which we are willing to yield to Him.

When one receives the Holy Spirit there is a magnification of the Holy Spirit.

Becoming baptized in Jesus name does not mean one also receives the Holy Spirit.

(Acts 8:14-17) “ When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them. When they arrived, they prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit had not yet come upon any of them; they had simply been baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus. Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.”

If one receives the Holy Spirit he or she will listen to his instructions, which will never allow one to sin.

(Romans 8: 4) “He did this in order that the law’s just demands might be satisfied in us, who behave not as our unspiritual nature but as the Spirit dictates.”

If one sins then scripture says they are of the devil. So a sinner is not listening to the Holy Spirit but to the devil.

(1 John 3:8) “He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work”
