That is great Proscribe :) Going to Church is wonderful for all of us as the Church is the place where we go to find peace, healing and sustenance our spiritual "table" with spiritual "food" :) I am happy for you that you are in contact with a church nearby :)

Prayers for you and your journey:)

How about @email to Fr. John Matusiak of OCA? . . .

OCA - Questions &amp Answers

this is a great idea, but the best thing would be to talk to the priest who really knows you. even if all you can do is make the occaisional phone call, your priest who knows and loves you can give you the best instruction.

I don't know anything about proscribe, but it seems to me he is trolling for attention. I personally wouldn't even reply to him. If there is a problem I'm unaware of, my apologies.

Sometimes people need to get stuff out in order to move forward. I wouldnt let this rob your Peace Nik.

@Pro, May God bless you as you seek out talking to a priest, I know for myself (Having suffered mental illness') having the clergy in my life has made profound difference. God bless you!

No, that's up to you if you want to chat with him. (Rev. Fr. Anthony Archpriest of Western Rite in Ft. Worth, Texas.)
Wesley,

I hope you are still on, and see this.

I called Saint Peter's Church in Fort Worth and spoke with Linda. She remembers you and cares about you very much, as a brother in Christ. She is usually the only person to answer the phones (office hours 10am to 5pm), but also has other duties. If you are not comfortable leaving a message (something that I understand - I don't like to either), she said you can always try back several minutes later, as she is probably in another part of the church. She has also been sick lately, so please understand if there is no answer for a day or two.

It is easiest to get in touch with of Father Anthony in the mornings (not late afternoons). There have been a few deaths in the parish this month, and there is always the sick that he tends to. Apparently, the parish does not have your phone number, so Father can't return your calls when he is available.

There are no insurmountable hurdles here. Father Anthony is willing to talk to you, and it sounds as if he looks forward to seeing you. I am sure you are in his prayers. I know Linda prays for you, as do I , and many here at TAW.

May God bless you, my friend.
