A guy I'm seeing currently (not bf--yet anyway, I'm still working on him
) and I met at a science fair. I was leafing through poster presentation abstracts & found one particularly interesting. I went up to the poster and saw that the guy to whom the poster belonged was
insanely attractive--like the kind of attractive that just grabs your attention & doesn't let go. I talked to him briefly about his project & then knew I had to shift the conversation to more personable topics if this was going to go anywhere. Got his name, plans for after college, told a couple of funny jokes to remember me by, then went on my way so he wouldn't feel pressured. Overall, a good opener. =D
I later facebooked him, had a few conversations, & told him how cute and smart I thought he was. He asked me out, met each others friends & family members, & now its only a matter of time.
