Why should I register?

By registering with the forum, you will be able to edit your member profile and preferences. You will get the most out of your time here if you change your profile and preferences to suit your individual tastes. There are many options in your profile to make your experience here more enjoyable, so please take a few moments to try the various settings. Also, only users that are registered and logged in can take advantage of the "New Posts" and "Alert" features upon each visit.

How do I close my account?

Remove information from your profile if you placed it there. Scramble your password, or go to Contact Us and open up a Ticket and request your account be banned. We do not delete accounts nor delete posts.

Does my browser have to be set to accept cookies?

Yes. Cookies are used to remember your login information as well as what posts you have read during your current session. Without accepting cookies some functions won't work properly.

What if I post in the wrong forum?

Let Staff know - He/She will be able to move it for you.

How do I report a post?

Click on the word "Report" at the bottom of the post that you want to report.


You will receive alerts when someone quotes your post or responds to a status update, when you receive a new trophy, and more.

Age of Participation

All members must be at least 16 years of age. Younger members will be removed until they are 16.

How do I change my email?

Go to your username and in the left column you'll see password. Select that, enter your current password, then change to your new password. If you don't remember your current password open up a Ticket in Contact Us.

Can I put links in my signature?

Neither external links or addresses are permitted in signatures or user titles. If your link meets CF rules, you may place it in your home page link.

How do I Appeal a Staff Action?

Open up a Ticket in Contact Us and respectfully communicate your appeal.

Is there a chart for membership levels with prices?

How do I change my password?

Go to Your Account Password page and change your password there. CF staff do not have access to passwords.

How do I change my Faith Icon?

See this list, then open up a Ticket in Contact Us and talk with an admin about your desire to change your faith icon.

How do I change my username?

Open up a Ticket in Contact Us where an admin can change your username. Please give them your top 3 choices of name changes in the event your first username is not available.

What if I am having account problems?

You'll find the Questions about CF forum is where technical issue threads are started. Those who excel in CF issues as well as our Tech Admin will respond there. Only you and staff can see your threads in there.

I'm having log-in problems. What can I do?

Open up a Ticket in Contact Us and let us know you are having log in issues.

How do I post a new topic?

You go to the list of thread topics in any area of Christian Forums and click on Post New Thread located at the top right.

When and how can I start a conversation?

Once you have made at least 20 posts and have 5 positive post ratings, you can initiate conversations with other members. To do this, you can either click on Start a Conversation under the member's name, or click on your Inbox, and click on Start a Conversation at the bottom of the pop up.

When and how can I start a blog?

Once you have made at least 20 posts and have 5 positive post ratings, you can start a blog. You can't see the red button until you have those 20 posts and 5 positive post ratings.

Is there a chat room?

There is a chat room. Once you have made 20 posts and have 5 positive post ratings, you will see the word "Chat" on the left side of the page toward the top. Click on that word to see the chat room and to participate in it.

Why am I getting "insufficient privileges" when I try to post in some forums?

Certain forums have requirements for participation. For example, Christian Apologetics has this in the Statement of Purpose for that forum:
  • Christian Members: To participate in this forum please read the sign-up thread and request access.
  • Non-Christian Members: Please read this sticky thread and follow the instructions before posting in this forum.
