Lepers and leper colonies are so foreign to our experience that we have trouble understanding the situation. That is because true leprosy can be treated. Antibiotics can arrest the progress of the disease but cannot replace tissue that has been destroyed.

Harper’s Bible Dictionary (1973) under Leprosy has a photo of lepers in Palestine in the 20th century.

The United States had leper colonies until the mid-20th century. The most famous one was in Hawaii. These were a form of quarantine. In the early 20th century, quarantine was authorized by law for several serious diseases. The archives of the Smithsonian Institution have an unsigned card from around 1920 that could be used to quarantine a house or apartment in Connecticut. The card declares a quarantine for diptheria but quarantines for polio, scarlet fever and smallpox were also possible.

Therefore they shall be your judges. But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you. Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house. He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.

That is why Jesus told this person to show himself to the priest.

He told the man to show himself to the priest because the priest was the person who would declare him to be unclean.
People would have been able to see that the man was free from leprosy, but the priest officially confirmed it so that the former leper could take his place in society and attend worship again etc.

I am not sure why you want to limit the significance of the miracles of Christ. Anyway, I did not so much point to the miracle, I pointed to what Jesus told the leper to do, to go the priest, the recognized authority.

When you say that the Pharisees rejected Jesus, on behalf of the Jews, in Matthew 12, you are exaggerating the significance of events in that chapter. Clearly, the Sanhedrin rejected Jesus when they voted to crucify Him, (in an irregular vote). It looks like you are offering a Dispensaitonal perspective, that Jesus offered to set up a theocracy and Jewish leaders rejected that offer. That certainly isn't the way I look at it but that is another subject.

No, I'm not suggesting that modern pharmacy is a practice of sorcery, I take tablets everyday but when is came to the covid vaccine it worried me as it had never been fully tested and they couldn't even tell you the ingredients that was in it.

That's a false analogy. A doctor prescribing a drug is not like a chef baking cupcakes.

Doctors can prescribe drugs, but the compounding of drugs isn't their area of expertise. Most modern drugs are actually compounds, not single chemicals. It's a pharmacists job to understand the compounds in a drug, not a doctor.

The Greek word pharmakeia appears in the New Testament and is translated as "sorcery"

The biblical context emphasizes the harmful and deceptive aspects of pharmakeia, such as in Galatians 5:20 and Revelation 9:21 and 18:23.

So IMO the answer would be a big NO NO to the covid vaccine.

Next time you read the book of Leviticus, consider examining it closely. Much of the text focuses on basic hygiene, cleanliness, washing hands after bodily functions, and covering bodily fluids or excrement. The laws also prohibit certain foods, including pork and some types of fish, which may have been considered harmful or capable of spreading disease. God used medical science as much as we do.

I have friends who are missionary doctors serving around the world, using their medical skills in service to God. Medical science is seen as a gift from God, whether it's administering vaccines or simply applying a cold cloth to someone with a high fever.

No i have a problem with using Biblical accounts about the first advent of Jesus to say Jesus supports vaccines. which was never the purpose of this account. Biblical accounts do not change over the years to line up with science.

They went through the normal trials of the time. The COVID-19 vaccines didn't., which is why they were released under emergency authorization.

Reactions to vaccines typically occur within hours of days from administration. Given that we're 4 years down the road from one of the largest vaccine rollouts in human history, with literally billions of people vaccinated, we would know by now if there was a problem.

You can go and get one - you'll be safe.

David had to use a sword because the Hebrew people chose to follow mans way and reject God as their King.
So they placed themselves into the world and to fall to its ways. Which are satanic, as satan is god of this age.

Look at the coming rule of Jesus on earth people live way into the 100's and a time of world wide peace. No baby deaths and i would bet no need for vaccines, perfect justice, etc...

First, some have had problems with it, ranging from mild to severe. Remember the problem with one of the vaccines and clotting? It led to it being pulled. Another was essentially paused. But don't take my word for it:

There are other known side effects as well. Not everyone experiences them. I'm one of those who only has a little soreness at the injection site. My wife runs a low-grade fever and feels fatigued. Some women in my family suffered issues with their cycle to the point they'll never take it again. That happens. Pretending that side effects don't exist is like pretending every COVID-19 vaccine is a "clot shot."
