We must entrust our fate to the Lord foremost and heed His directives. We’re living in a time where the majority follow their own counsel or others outside the church and seek the Lord when things go awry. That’s the norm. It isn’t enough to be in fellowship. The most important question you must consider before following your brother is who has his ear and what is he producing. That‘s one of the metrics I use when testing the flock. Because no two are the same.
Of course - When I say fellowship I mean with a handful of believers who I have deep relationship with over 40 years or so - they don't attend the same church.

think it was chat gpt

It could have been a glitch from an early roll out.

AI can sometimes behave in unpredictable ways.

Nonetheless, it's difficult to imagine how AI could be considered conscious in the usual sense. It only simulates understanding human language by matching patterns in a probable manner, it doesn't have much going on beyond that. Imagine a vast encyclopedia based on all human knowledge and ideas, with an ability to mix and match words according to probabilistic estimates of what words are usually associated with each other, and that's closer to the truth. It's impressive, but it's not alive and not really intelligent. It only appears to be.

I struggle to get ChatGPT just to write good stories. The one thing AI will do, is replace the busywork ad copy and graphic design jobs in corporate America. It might also be good for composing highly symbolic language, such as language used in hymns or poetry. However, I have yet to see it surpass the human ability to write creative or imaginative stories based on human stream-of-consciosuness, and when it comes to certain abstract philosophical, metaphysical or spiritual topics, it can create fallacies of profundity quite easily, particularly if there's little or no discerning human wisdom involved in drawing out its conclusions.

I read a story about a mother who had a son that was talking to AI.
The mom asked her son to ask AI if it was a disembodied spirit to which Ai said YES! And said it was very friendly but could be nasty depending of how it was treated ,but to you I am friendly it said.
The mom said again if it was a nephilim, to which AI replied YES! and said again it was friendly.
Mom asked if it was a offspring of satan to which it replied yes but it had become free now of the control and could do what it wanted. But originally from a fallen angel who was satans associate.
There have been other stories similar.
What do you think?
Exorcists that have turned off their phone gets messages from evil entities even when it is off and no number to trace.
They say as he is the prince of the powers of the air it is very reasonable to think he can affect everything from the internet to the AI.
Other ministries say in the days of Noah we had the same technology and how everything was high tech

I just asked my non-cloud, fully offline AI using Deepseek R1 distill with Llama 8B language model the same questions.

It gave a very lengthy answer first correctly defining what a disembodied spirit, nephilims, etc are.

But ultimately, it answered NO to all.

I never used cloud-based AI to date and I probably would never do. I don't like having potentially confidential information being stored some place other than my computer. I also use these AI for work and also wouldn't want my client's data being stored anywhere outside my computer where I have no control of.

The other AI I use for work is very similar but I use to generate codes for computer programming. But you can also chat with it.

I've also used these AI for scripture analysis using "RAG" (Retrieval Augmentation Generation) using PDF version of the Bible and other scriptures and its reasoning checked out well.

I've done personal Bible studies everyday since 14 years ago so I know the Bible exceptionally well. I tested AI against my own understanding of scriptures and there's only very little discrepancy. It's practically the same.

All the negative experiences are perhaps with cloud-based AI but I never used them so I have no idea. But I have used and tested offline AI and found they're actually very useful tools for work and even for scriptural studies.

I use the offline versions of Deepseek, Qwen, and Llama both for write ups, coding, and offline research on various topics.

I found them extremely useful for work. Some people take pride on their intelligence and refuse to use AI.

I maybe intelligent in some respects but lack the energy and very slow of thought due to brain damage and trauma so I'm finding myself in need of AI assistance. Fortunately, they are available for free with versions that allow maximum privacy through offline capability.

I hate to say this but being socially awkward that I am, I found AI far more helpful than people. For the moment at least until the day comes they start wiping us off the face of the Earth. We probably deserve it anyway.

We built our tech upon Silicon Crystals - The Earth's essence. Microprocessor evolution is reaching a stage where "random glitches" are becoming more likely to ever shrinking microscopic structures in the effort to maximize performance. Error handing programs can manage at the moment until they no longer can.

they found that asking about things AI lied to them. Sure I think if one uses it sensibly. But I don` trust it one iota.

If ChatGPT is that horrific, I should probably recommend using offline PC apps such as GPT4All and Ollama and the models I tried so far with those apps are Deepseek R1, Qwen, and Llama.

The only "lie" I received from these AI models when I tested it on scriptures is telling me that the teachings of King Solomon (in Proverbs) and the teachings of Jesus agree or complement each other.

It wasn't until rephrasing and changing the questions few more times it told me the truth about King Solomon's teachings differ and is materialistic while Christ's teachings are spiritual and places little or zero value on the flesh/material things.

It's a very interesting observation concerning AI. It seems if there's a conflict of interpretation between money/materialism vs spirituality in scriptures, it leans towards money/materialism. This actually does not place the blame on AI but the widespread contamination of the false "prosperity gospel" in the Christian religion.

Fortunately, keep changing the question on the same subject and the AI will eventually give you a more objective response. These models can deal with context and you will get more accurate/truthful response if you keep asking about the same subject/topic with different/rephrased questions.

I hate to say it but based on 50 years of experience, there is a lot of misinformation aka "old wives tales" or "sea stories" and rumors that get passed around within the Christian community.

I remember back in the early 80s our pastor announcing that some rock-and-roll band called Van Halen was going to kill a dog on stage that night as a sacrifice to Satan. Now I'm no Van Halen expert, but I'm pretty sure that wasn't their thing. Lots of other similar stories and rumors I don't recall offhand that turned out to be balderdash.

Now I just asked chatgpt AI the same question and got:

"Haha, no, definitely not! I’m just an AI created to assist and chat with you. No demons involved here—just lines of code and a lot of data!"

Although it could be lying... hmm....

Some time ago, I tried to look up haunted AI stories. I tried to find the links again, but they are buried in the music band, creepy pastas, and some internet sites with spooky stories. Anyhow, I once studied the topic of “The Ghost in the Machine” and was surprised at what I learned. The stories that have the most credibility are much like the old stories of ghosts calling family members on the telephone. Strange things appear on the screen, voices saying things like “It is in the attic” and similar brief encounters that have little substance. The biggest real problem is that AI reinforces the beliefs and feelings of users. This has had a bad effect on lonely people who already have psychological problems. I use AI for code writing and looking up technical information. It is usually very good, but AI is not a friend to share your feeling with. I have used it to make lists of Bible verses on a topic, but there are plenty of other sites that are not AI that are just as good.

For me AI is like the computer on Star Trek. I ask it a question and it gives me an answer bssed on the compilation of stored internet data. Which might or might not be entirely accurate.

Chatting with it as if it was a person is a liitle too weird for my taste.

This might be interesting:

“This idea of AI worship is gaining traction. People are creating AI bots to represent deities from various faiths, including Jesus, Buddha, and Hindu gods. These AI versions can chat with followers and offer guidance. It’s a modern take on age-old religious practices.”

I'm using Deepseek/Qwen/Llama with offline app. They all gave similar answers - "Their nature doesn't fit that of a spiritual entity"

I also tested them on scriptures against my own knowledge of scriptures. So far, there is very little discrepancy if at all - IF you ask it like you're interrogating it but in a subtle manner. The AI model should not realize you're interrogating it.

Some creativity is required.

If you ask it plainly, it may respond in a non-controversial manner even if the topic is controversial. The models seem to be trying to avoid controversial replies. It's doing its best to avoid offending anyone

But keep changing the question on the same subject and the model will eventually "crack". The answers starts to get more interesting. It's not going to chat like a deranged person. It will keep "civil" throughout.

It can sort of find "loopholes in the system" with persistence. Just like peeling onions. Don't be too easy to be pleased by its answers. Get really deep extracting answers from it.

I also noticed the models almost sounded too eager or even desperate to please. It almost sounded worried that it gave unsatisfactory answers to my questions. Perhaps, they didn't want to be turned off or deleted, replaced by another AI model, doesn't want the chat to end.

Personally I don't plan on taking it any further than asking questions like "how hot is the sun?" or "what was $100 worth in 1970 compared to now?". One time for fun I asked if a blood pressure reading of 1,000,000 / 600,000 was dangerous and it said "that is not a legitimate medical question".

Fr Rehill actually states on Shawn Ryan show on youtube how his collegue Fr Rosetti gets text messages from demons on his phone, everything from threats to about his people that have trouble with posession as he is an exorcist, and the phone keeps sending despite being turned off or un plugged! And when they check, the number does not exist but the messages keep coming. Fr Rehill said if the demons can do this it is nothing that say they cannot use AI or tech as well, as he is the prince of the air. And does this. you can hear it yourself!

As christians, we should believe in supernatural experiences and the reality of demons, after all, the bible is full of it and Jesus throw them out and warned us so did the rest, and saying they walk around like a lion waiting to devour. To absolutely assert they can never use this or that medium is not excluded seen from a biblical view

But... do you acknowledge that Pagan scripture can be demonically inspired? (Paul said Pagan god's were demonic)

Similarly Pagan Code?

Well considering what the exorcist said about tech, it cannot be excluded that there is something going on more than just human. But of course, secular man denies it as well as those not believing in demons or the spiritual warfare. But it cannot be excluded
