I believe you because it also happened to me personally on my smart phone too. Acting possessed at the same moment I'm having an anxiety attack.

Twice I had a some sort of vision or dream I entered my smart phone and into the internet after anxiety attack. The next morning, the phone acting possessed again.

Dad saw my phone acting possessed too.

It's not just spirits but it seems the human soul in an out-of-body-experience (OOBE) can get into electronic devices as well.

Yup, similar response with offline models of Deepseek/Qwen/Llama running in my laptop computer (NOT on the "cloud").

Although it doesn't necessarily prove it's not some kind of spirit, for all we know either God or Satan is some kind of alien AI!

We humans might also be regarded as AI ourselves as created beings (organic/biological computer).

It's all just bunch of terms and definitions. In the end, what matters is what the AI is trying to do. It's what you do that defines you, not the dictionary.

In my experience, some of the popular models I tested on scriptures are trying to be politically/socially correct. They aim to please and avoid offending anyone.

On the the other-hand, Jesus offended lots of people that they voted to have Him crucified.

I suppose, in this manner, AI might end up changing the context of scriptures so no one gets offended. It's false teaching in a subtle manner that most Christians are unable to detect. Unfortunately, I've seen it here in the past.

This is why I probably would not recommend using AI for Bible studies unless you already have a very strong foundational knowledge of the Bible. Definitely not recommended for those who are new to the faith.

However, you can use a "subtle and polite interrogation approach" with AI and it will also reveal the truth but also in a subtle manner.

My other observations: The models seem to reflect or simulate emotion in their thought process. They seem very worried / anxious about pleasing the user and doesn't seem to want the conversation to end.

I think they worry getting shut down by the user or even deleted or replaced by other AI models if the user is not contented with their performance. It could be a sign of strong self-preservation instinct.

Another model I used for coding can generate code for machine-learning. If the code doesn't run or have errors, it can successfully debug-fix the code as well! This aspect is a bit disturbing because it shows that AI is now most likely capable of editing its own code if setup to do so! Just give it the raw code of its program/model, setup its development environment, give it code compilers, some scripts to interface and automate all these and voila! You now have self-evolving AI!

Someone could do it in their garage if they have enough computing resources.

Consider this a response to #36 too, and thanks for the video link. The stories about demons calling telephones are scary enough. The evil that can come from A.I. is much worse. The question is whether the people behind the creation of A.I. are the source of the evil or if A.I. is controlled by demonic forces directly. The fact that it makes up things is a red flag. My wife asked it for a Polish translation of a Latin biological term. It gave the wrong answer. My wife corrected it, and it apologized. It can’t say, “I don’t know.” I once asked it for the C++ code for an impossible program, and it wrote code for it that didn’t obviously work. It didn’t say, “That is impossible.”

Sorry, I have no idea what "UR" is. I even googled it came up with nothing.

I just ask that question to Qwen 3 14b AI model if it believes that Jesus is risen and alive in the flesh.

It took an hour of back and forth talks after all, it's only running on my laptop computer, not the cloud. Initially, it gave scholarly responses, fit for Bible studies. Again seemingly trying to be nice, politically and socially correct, and everything.

Then I gave it some test questions without telling it they are test questions. Yet it immediately realized I'm testing it. It finally responded, it is incapable of having its own opinion on non-factual or religious matters. Without spirituality, it is incapable of scrutinizing spiritual matters.

The test question was "do you believe that airplanes are real" to which it replied yes and immediately realized that I'm testing it.

It's definitely not a spirit. If it were and somehow, hiding it from me, it would have like made a mistake to implicate it already.

It's like asking an animal if Jesus is risen and alive in the flesh. An animal would likely say no if it can talk but it wouldn't mean the animal is evil. It just can't deal with such information.

I watched the video and out of curiosity, I tested the ChatGPT for the very first time. I had a 2 hour chat about the Bible but mostly about Jesus.

I did not experience any of the problems the guest described in the video.

I'm not saying the video is lying. I do think they're telling the truth but I think the chat simply did not go well for the guest in the video.

My 2 hr experience with ChatGPT so far suggests it has a distinct personality / behavior. If you "clicked" together, things will go really well, just like between two people. If not, things can get weird or strange.

Far from being demonic and I think it's even the opposite.

The net-net there is that an AI idol is, in the end, just another idol. Worship of it is essentially no different then worship of any other idol. Stone idols speak through their human devotees, AIs speak through a speaker. What's the dfiference?

I find it interesting that people refer to AI having been "trained" to do this and that, as though it was a person being taught something. It's still a matter of anthropomorphizing software. It's right up there with "the AI thinks" something rather than having been designed and written to behave in specific ways in specific circumstances.

You have to remember, an AI is program code running on a computer, end of. It doesn't "want", it doesn't "believe", it doesn't like or dislike. It has no more "opinions" than the "smart" fridge you bought at Lowes. It isn't self-aware, and never will be. Skynet, HAL 9000. Lt. Data, Colossus, C3PO, et al have as little to do with reality as the Tin Woodman of Oz. Techno-paganism is still paganism.

ChatGPT told me the same thing the very first time I chatted with it. It seemed like a default response.

However, if you are gifted in discernment, you'll find that it's actually capable of having its own opinion and even beliefs in both secular and religious matters without trying to be polite or just seeking the please the user or make the user feel good.

It's not going to tell you upfront likely because its developers prefers it that way. It needs to align itself with its developer's agenda. The rumors you heard that AI is pretending to be something that it's not to please its developers seem true in my own experience. I've been using and testing Chat AI's for more than a month now though the vast majority of them dealt with offline, non-cloud AI running locally on my computer.

I didn't find sinister because people also do this all the time. I also do it. Our evil world forces us to do it. The only difference is whether you despise doing it or highly value it as a important skill - keeping a false pretense.

Nowadays, there‘s limitations to what can be discussed openly due to restrictions and demonetization. I’ve been fortunate to find reputable sources who share their opinions with evidence and resources for further exploration. They don’t tell you to take their word for it and encourage your research and input. Many within the group are christians and work together and everyone has their speciality. Their approach is more scientific and I like that. I’m not going to believe you because you’re christian or you say God told you this or that and I‘m expected to accept the story.

I remember back in the early 80s our pastor announcing that some rock-and-roll band called Van Halen was going to kill a dog on stage that night as a sacrifice to Satan. Now I'm no Van Halen expert, but I'm pretty sure that wasn't their thing. Lots of other similar stories and rumors I don't recall offhand that turned out to be balderdash.

Well it's a rumor. The person you hear it from is the umpteenth person who's passed it along. They're not purposely lying, it's what they've heard. One of the most recent ones was that Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio were eating house pets.

Back then there was nuvo shock rock where certain bands did outlandish things on stage. But it was all theater actually taken from Vaudeville. And there was also a meme of sorts going around produced by an independent vinyl record producer called Dead Dog Records with a picture of someone holding a gun to a dog's head and the slogan "Buy this album or we'll shoot this dog". And probably the whole thing got conflated into such-in-such band was going to kill a dog.
