Wars always drive up polls. It’s a great way for a failing president to distract at least some of their fans from their domestic disasters.

The promise was no new wars. We are now in a new war we weren’t involved in last week, or ever before. That is a failed promise.
If you took that as a blanket we will never use military force for any reason that is your misunderstanding. Protecting this nation from all threats is the job of the President. Finally a strong president who will actually do his job and not lay on the beach while God knows who would run the country for him.

I really don't think we are in a war , but if it comes to that it will be a short one. You said no new wars right! Iran has considered themselves to be at war with us since 1979, killing Americans through proxies and funding since that time. I guess you would be ok with an evil Islamic regime having a nuke. Even the liberal hero Obama took necessary military action. All of this liberal complaint is not ground in reason but is a manifestation of Trump hatred.
Open your ears and eyes. Iran was working on a nuke and the means to deliver it even as far as our east coast. Do you really believe the Evil Islamic death to America cult would not use one once attained?
