There will be "Two Future Resurrections" on "The Last Day" the righteous saved are "Blessed" to be in "The First Resurrection" to eternal life, the second death resurrection has no power over the righteous saved

The second death will see the unsaved wicked being in "The Second Resurrection" to eternal damnation in the lake of fire, or the "Second Death"

Revelation 20:6KJV
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

1.) The First Resurrection To Eternal Life
2.) The Second Resurrection To Eternal Damnation, Second Death

John 5:28-29KJV
28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth;
they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

(The First Resurrection Of The Righteous Saved) The Dead In Christ Shall Rise "First"

1 Thessalonians 4:16KJV
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

(The Second Resurrection Of The Wicked To The Second Death In Eternal Damnation)

Revelation 20:13-14KJV
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

The first resurection is explained to be them who were beheaded for their witness of Jesus ,and who had not worshiped the beast or it's image ,nor received its mark. They will live and reign with Christ for 1000 years.

After the 1000 years ,there is a second resurrection of everyone else and they will be judged by their works.Scripture does not say they are all destroyed.

Revelation 20 explains this perfectly and really needs no interpretation.

Revelation 20
20 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

I believe the resurrection is for all , like the wheat and tares that are all harvested at the same time. It is judgment that comes in two stages. The first to everlasting life, the second to condemnation. But I really dont think it is a matter of concern what order we get judged,.

John 5:28-29KJV

Revelation is prophecy, which is given in riddles and not clearly (Nu 12:8).

The first resurrection is of the human spirit, from spiritual death into eternal life in the new birth (Jn 3:3-5).
The second resurrection is of all mankind, the sheep and the goats, at the second coming at the end of time.

In the parable of the wheat and tares, the tares are gathered first ,then the wheat is gathered

And that is how it goes at Jesus coming.

Mathew 13:30
Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’”

That is not what resurection means.

Them who are in the first resurection had already lived and were beheaded for testifying of Jesus like Stephen was stoned to death because of his testimony of Jesus. They are murdered for doing what Jesus tells them to do

Then they are resurected at Jesus coming and are raised from the dead to life as Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead.

"were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God"

Revelation 20:4
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Jesus taught that his believers mentioned above would be resurrected on "The Last Day" at his second coming (Then Cometh The End) not after a Millennial Kingdom on this earth as many falsely claim

1 Corinthians 15:23-24KJV
21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
24 Then cometh the end
, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

Jesus resurrects his righteous believers on "The Last Day" at his second coming (Then Cometh The End)

John 6:39-40KJV And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

The last day is the seventh day.
Also know as the Sabbath.

Them who are resurected in the first resurection keep the Sabbath.
You obviously won't as you openly say that you will miss it.

I Disagree, the word "Resurrection" in the Bible is reserved for the future event of the literal bodily being raised at the second coming as shown in the OP, your suggestion the first resurrection is of the human spirit is wrong IMHO

In prophetic riddles (Nu 12:8), nothing is reserved for anything.

I Disagree

Study the word "Resurrection" and you will clearly see its reserved for the future event when the immortal body is received at the second coming of Jesus Christ

To claim the word "Resurrection" pertains to salvation or being born again would be "False"

Christ's resurrection is not a future event. . .
Jesus Christ's "Resurrection" was immortal and bodily

Once again when you study the word "Resurrection" it pertains to the immortal bodily "Resurrection" exclusively, there is one future time of the bodily "Resurrection" of "All" this takes place on "The Last Day" at the future second coming of Jesus Christ

Many poster's claim the word "Resurrection" pertains to salvation in being born again a "Spiritual Resurrection", this claim is "False"

Proved my point, they were gathered together, then separated but the tares were judged first! . Again. It does not matter what the sequence is. The moral of the story? The end game is the same.

We cannot omit verses 4 and 5 which explain what the first and second resurrection are.

Revelation 20:4 "And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the Word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Revelation 20:6 "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years."

And we see in verse 5 the rest of the dead have to wait until the thousand years are finished.

And we see in verse 5 the rest of the dead have to wait until the thousand years are finished.
Revelation 20:4-6 is talking about the "Souls" of beheaded Christians during the tribulation and the rest of (The Dead)

These "Souls" live and reign with Christ in the spiritual realm where one day is a thousand years, these saved "Souls" are awaiting upon the last day resurrection of "All" that takes place at the second coming of Jesus Christ in fire and final judgment (The End)

Revelation 20:4-6KJV
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Many just don't want to let go of their little pet 1,000 year kingdom on this earth that doesn't exist in scripture

Paul clearly taught that when Jesus returns the resurrection of the dead takes place, (Then Cometh The End) its that simple (The End) not a 1,000 year kingdom on this earth as many "Falsely" claim

1 Corinthians 15:21-24KJV
21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
24 Then cometh the end
, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

The scripture above is in perfect agreement with Jesus being revealed in fire and brimstone as seen below (Then Cometh The End) as all the unsaved wicked are destroyed at the Lord's return

(Destroyed Them All)

Luke 17:29-30KJV
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

The resurrection of "All" is seen below and the wicked are judged to eternal damnation, this is when the "Final Judgement" takes place (The End)

John 5:28-29KJV
28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Jesus clearly taught that the resurrection of "All" takes place on "The Last Day" this is in perfect agreement with the scripture above

John 6:39-40KJV
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Your title has the first resurrection explained and quoted verse 6. And I posted that the prior two verses themselves explained what the first resurrection is.

Revelation 20:4 "And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the Word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years."

Revelation 20:5
"But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection."

It's laid out perfectly and we are told specifically "This is the first resurrection".

OK it's laid out perfectly, the future resurrection of "All" takes place on "The Last Day", those seen in Revelation 20:4-6 are dead souls awaiting upon this future resurrection, glad to see you agree, smiles!

29 And shall come forth;
they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth;
they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Prophecy is given in riddles, and not clearly (Nu 12:6-8).
All interpretation of these prophetic riddles must be in agreement with NT apostolic teaching.

Therefore, interpretation of the prophetic riddle of Revelation to mean two physical resurrections is incorrect because it disagrees with apostolic teaching of only one physical resurrection, at the end of time (1 Th 4:15-17).
