Hearsay by who? You mean you heard someone say it and you were just repeating it?
It would help if you were more careful, not only with your wording but your ideas. It's not the first time you've contradicted yourself.

The important thing, however is that, as you said, the shape of the earth is not important. It's almost the only thing - apart from the Gospel - that we agree on. The devil can't deceive us, and he wouldn't waste his time trying - he wants to get people away from God and the cross.
The shape of the earth is completely unimportant, doesn't save, help, edify, instruct anyone or help Christians to be salt and light in the world.
I get sucked into these discussions - maybe more fool me - because of the Bible verses which are partially quoted, misquoted, quoted out of context or misapplied; so that folk are trying to make the Bible say something which it doesn't. Also, the implication that "you don't believe/read the Bible properly if you don't agree with us.

Luckily for you, there's no sin, shame or embarrassment in heaven so people are unlikely to come up to you and say "told you so." Yes, you'll be in heaven with globe earth believers; get over it.

Thanks to cartoons, a lot of people see the devil as being a ridiculous cartoon figure in a red outfit and carrying a pitchfork.
But almost everyone believes in evil and suffering - they blame God for it.

That has nothing at all to do with the shape of the earth. The shape of the earth - and you don't even know what that is - has nothing at all to do with salvation or believing in God.

You believe there are more flat earthers than there might be otherwise because some of them are paid to say that they believe it. The flat earth society is where the very few flat earthers that there are can support, learn from and encourage each other - and you don't even trust them.

God is not the creator of the Earth only, but of all the "thousands" of galaxies and of the whole Universe the galaxies are in. Therefore, a more vast Universe does not make him smaller, but greater (logic).
