It's funny you bring up Levi's because that's the huge garment distribution facility I worked at for several years where most if not all of the product that came in was manufactured outside of the US.

There's always been plenty of documented migrants to work agriculture. But all the illegals who swarm into places like Van Nuys aren't there to pick crops. Bill Clinton used to give about as strong anti illegal alien speeches as Trump. But somewhere along the line the Democrat party decided to exploit minorities to get their votes.

Then I am not sure why you only highlighted this part of my post. I will deal with this first. Its well acknowledged that costs for food, essentials, cars, real estate, building costs, transport, energy costs, just about everything has massively go up in a very short time almost trippling costs.

Tell me is a house even affordable for todays generation in the US because it ain't here or in many other western nations. What about energy costs, they have gone up dramatically and will contune as we make it hard for traditional energy while having to subsidize green energies. What about foo. Has the avergae shopping trolly of food dramatically increased where these items not cost a larger % of income than in the recent past.

By the way its not Gish Gallop but rather good practice and science. I have come to know the standard of evidence expected by some who disagree. So I am very careful and particular about what I link. Gish gallop is when someone links a lot of articles without any explanation hoping that the sheer volume is enough.

But all I have done is posted a couple of links each explaining a different aspect of how the economy is not out of the woods and how maintaing massive debt will eventually cause a major crisis in the US economy. That is certainly not Gish Gallop.

Is that what Bradskii thinks? It's a good thing you told him, because I don't believe he knew he thought that. But if we allow more worker immigration and crack down on illegals then there will be less exploitation in those industries. It's the Right that doesn't want to crack down on illegal workers; they only care about asylum seekers.

At my last job I talked to them regularly and they were not only paid subpar wages they paid outrageous rent.
They were severely taken advantage of.
But if you got an address and sent them a bill, they would actually pay on their emergency room bills.

You do understand that the Right focuses on asylum seekers as the main immigrant threat is because asylum seekers are in the US legally and are thus protected by US labor law
