If you stand in front of a bonfire on a cold winter's night, the side facing the fire will roast while the other side is chilled by cold air being drawn into the fire. However if you slowly keep turning around on the spot then no part of your body becomes excessively hot or cold.

I am not sure what is the point if these "surprised questions". Even on the Earth you have hot Australia/Africa and cold Antarctica, in the same time (depending on how much the sun shines on these places).
