1 Th 4:17 proves Jesus NEVER touches earth. He descends (1 Th 4:16), but, by how much? It doesn’t say how far He goes. You are adding to Scripture; I am going 100% by Scripture. This assertion is nonsensical.
Jesus has departed from heaven, He is Returning to the earth as He Promised He would.
John 14:1-4 does not say anyone goes to heaven. Heaven; our Fathers dwelling place, is a Spiritual place that humans cannot go to. Jesus said so, John 7:34
The idea of a 'rapture to heaven', is false and can never happen.
John 14:3 (NIV): And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
Where is Jesus now? It is within 1 Th 4:17 that John 14:3 is fulfilled. Please read all of 1 Th 4:16-17 and John 14:3. All conditions are met: Jesus comes back for us (1 Th 4:16-17). He raptures us into the clouds (1 Th 4:17) and into Heaven in total fulfillment of John 14:3.
Jesus’ next return is to “come back and take” us into Heaven (John 14:3). He can’t be seen by unbelievers as this is not the 2A. This is all in strict accordance with Acts 1:11.
