Yeah, National Visibility Day may be forgotten. No one celebrates April Fool's day it seems, or Columbus Day (well, Columbus did some awful things to indigenous Native Americans, and did not discover the New World). Also, I sense humor about how some people forget that World Alzheimer's Day is on September 21st. I see what you did there, subtle humor, as those with Alzheimer's tend to forget things.
I agree. A lot of news agencies are trying to get both sides to fight each other. Sometimes, I wish we lived in a world with less social media. Then, less people would talk about the news. For your trans woman friend, I will pray for her. News companies used to inform people, say 10 years ago. Now, the news companies try to start flame wars. For black history month or MLK Jr. Day (I am not black, but am white with Roma ancestry), I watch a civil rights documentary. But, I do not celebrate Valentines day or Halloween, as both are materialistic days asking folks to buy candy.
Well, I am bi guy (so part of the LGB community) but just prefer more important issues to be talked about. If Biden wants to get reelected, he should focus on bipartisan issues first. I don't want Trump to win, so Biden needs to keep quiet about the trans stuff for now, and probably forever. 2024 is a critical moment in US history, and I do not want Biden to lose it. If Trump wins, the US could become a dictatorship similar to Russia or China.

And then a month every new or full moon. I'm not so sure about the week. Maybe go metric. 10 days in a week. and then redefine hours. 10 in a day? redefine minutes, 100 in an hour?
Then, keep the Day of Visibility in June or something, far away from Easter.
I like that idea. The planet in my sci-fi thing uses that time system. But yeah, totally irrelevant to this thread, but interesting. The French almost came up with this time system in the late 1700s.

I am single also, and vote to get rid of Valentine's day. Valentine's day is not supposed to be a Hallmark holiday, but a feast day for St. Valentine. So, I am not sure how to solve this issue then. I do not want our religious holidays (freedoms) to get removed. At the same time, the trans folks do not want their freedoms removed. We should find a time of year where there are no religious holidays, then the trans people could have their own holiday on that day.You realize that there would be a lot that would VOTE to get rid of religious holidays then right?

But the singles might vote to get rid of Valentines day.
So dont have religious holidays with dates that bounce around from year to year.
