Tony Bennett just died this August at age 96. He was 2 weeks from his 97th birthday. He'd been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease 6 years ago. Supposedly, he had problems recognizing long time friends and show business colleagues. But he still remembered song lyrics from decades earlier.
