Israel is a country that seems to take vengeance to the nth degree, and the many human rights violations they have inflicted on the Palestinians have created justified mistrust.

The Palestinians need to disavow Hamas...but Israel's harsh rule has, in the past, forced them to turn to them in desperation.

I am sure they would like to be rid of Hamas, too, but not if hundreds of thousands of them die--through starvation or bombings--in the process.
I strongly disagree.

Hamas has the support of the people.

BTW, Hamas has been SUPPORTED by Israel for many years, The strategy was an effort to weaken the Palestinian Authority (PLO/Fatah) and move the regions further away from a 2 state solution.

Consider how strange the actions by Israel have been.

GAZA
They withdrew all Israelis and turned the territory over to Hamas. With the embargos, there was little chance of Gaza being much more than the prison camp that it is. That being said, the Arabs could have done much more to directly help Gaza, including investments and airdropping whatever was needed. The Arabs were fine with the Israeli solution. An independent Palestine could be a threat to several of the Arab states.

WEST BANK
They stayed in the West bank, increasing the number of settlements, and doing nothing about the anti-Palestinian actions by settlers. In addition, there are many checkpoints. Israel has done much to weaken the government and interfere with the daily life of citizens.

Clearly, if the settlement and checkpoints were removed, there would be reasonable cries for an independent West bank very soon.

Zionist are not looking for a ceast fire bro they want Gaza back that’s the real reason for the bombing Hamas is just an excuse to justify their desires

Let me ask you this... What would happen if Palestine were "freed"..? From the river to the sea... Say tomorrow.

What would happen?
The Arab religious people are more like Christianity peaceful… I know there are some fanatics within all religions beliefs but peace is the outcome…Zionism are not peaceful people its racist to the extreme

Nobody knows what Zionism really is.. It's just a scare-word used by anti-Semitic's.

So the Jews want to rebuild the temple? Who cares! Let them.
Yes, folks do indeed know what Zionism really is.

IMO, Israel cannot have a Jewish state and deny the Palestinians a Palestinian state.

A one-state solution simply won't work. Ask Jordan and other countries where Palestinians caused civil unrest. it is said that Israel has offered to give the West Bank to Jordan. Jordan refused. They are having enough trouble with their current numbers of Palestinians.

There are two sets that want a one-state solution: right wing Israelis and Hamas.
=============================
WEST BANK
The solution is very, very clear. The Saudis and the UAE need to invest lots of money and be responsible for security. Israel must withdraw as they did in Gaza. The Palestinian Authority is well able to lead, but it will take time for it to rebuild confidence with its people. National elections are probably a few years away, but local elections can happen is a short period of time.

JERUSALEM
Yes, there needs to be a joint authority, maybe the Un, more likely an Arab-Israeli effort.

GAZA
Israel wants no part of Gaza. They need to remove Hamas. After that, it is up to the Arabs to come up with a security arrangement, and plans for new elections. A UN peace-keeping force can be part of the solution. Lots of money is needed. Political independence is years away, but Israel will have nothing to do with the solution.

I don't see Israel opening free borders with Gaza or having "normal" relations for many years.

MY BOTTOM LINE
Hamas has brought the Palestinian issue to the top of everyone's radar. With a new Israeli government in the Spring, step can then be immediately taken to withdraw from the West Bank. Israel does not "occupy" Gaza. In the same way, whichever Arabs are guaranteeing security will not be occupying Gaza.

We will have a messy few months. Much will depend on the Israel's new Arab allies. Even without them, the West Bank could be relatively free with a few months.

The opinions of the Iranian people seem to be increasingly divided about supporting Hamas.

Further divided opinion in Iran and even some pro Israel sentiments.

Should Hamas surrender to Israel?

No. Submit to God.

And discover what He has each of us do to love and pray for and bless every person. Discover how God will make His all-loving use of this situation > be preparing for this.

Interestingly, according to the link which I've now had the chance to complete, Zionism can be defined as:
ZION = Israeli State.
ZIONISM = immigration of Jews to Israel

So when someone says they are anti-zionist, they are actually calling for the dismantlement of Israel, and the forced dispersement of the Jews from Israel, to go spread out around the world. Again.

...This definitely qualifies me as a pro-Zionist Christian, if I were using bizarre, old timey, early 20th century terminology... But I'd just prefer to say that I support Israel, and it's right to exist. :)

The only openly stated goal of Hamas is the extermination of the Jews.

They have turned down two state solutions when suggested. I don’t think they have changed.
The only one doing the extermination are the Zionist..that’s the plan since 1948 … God is not with Zionist their actions prove they are not of God and lawless

What is your solution? Forced exile of all Jews from Israel by gunpoint?

Or Holocaust II
Holocaust was never gonna come from the palastines

Where in scripture says that?

They don’t have the capability to exterminate the zionist who have been put down and persecute since 1948

the palastines don’t trust Zionist to keep any deal with the treatment they suffered by Zionist since they arrived

So no Holocaust then... You're just for the forced removal of the Jews in Israel by gunpoint?

...And what if they refuse, shoot the families?

Landon palatines welcome the Jews coming from the west in 1948 peace would have been written in history had the Zionist not come with their ideology to take back the land to create Israel by force .. and they needed an enemy to justify their wickedness…

I’m for equality of life for both the jews and gentiles in Israel

I appreciate your sentiments.

It's just that in my view, the Jews migrated most heavily there after what happened in Germany in the 1940's, because they needed somewhere to go... And once they were there, think about it... They would need some kind of governance, to maintain things. Roads, hospitals, all kinds of things were needed.

I don't know what kind of government was in place prior to 1948. I wonder what it was like, really... Minus all the propoganda... I wish I could take a time machine, and see why they would need to form a government. But whatever the reason, that very fact made a lot of people mad.

Nor should they - the palastines are dedicated to exterminate Zionists , right ? If the palastines leave, the violence and the deaths of them stops.
If they do not leave, and if they continue supporting terror, they will continue to lose, as is only right in this case as presented.
Are you saying that the Palestinians should quit the region?
Leave their ancestral homeland because the Zionists want it based on a covenant that is no longer in force?

How dare the Palestinians live as if they were a free people, on their own land!
